Senior Product Designer - Fulfillment
An overview of this role
You'll be working with the Fulfillment team to create a world-class buyer experience. The Fulfillment team is highly collaborative and values UX input—you'll be consulted early and often, and your guidance will help shape the direction of the product and customer experience.
Your work will directly impact business results as every paying customer interacts with Fulfillment systems. You'll have interesting and challenging opportunities to advocate for usability alongside business requirements. This includes supporting key initiatives in pricing and packaging innovation, seat/consumables management and cost control, purchasing and provisioning, improving self-service usability, and subscription/billing model simplification.

What you'll do
You’ll work alongside UX Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineers to iterate on new features within the GitLab product.
You'll balance business requirements with user needs when designing flows, creating experiences that meet company goals while remaining intuitive for users.
You’ll communicate your design thinking and ideas through wireframes, prototypes, user flows, mockups, and high-fidelity visual designs.
You’ll engage with our user base and the wider GitLab community to understand their pain points and work toward long-term fixes that enable them to succeed with their goals.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to support pricing and packaging innovations that align with GitLab's business strategy and customer needs.
You’ll undertake usability testing to validate your thinking. (We’ve got an excellent team of UX Researchers who can offer guidance, as needed.)
You’ll contribute to our Design System, alongside the rest of the UX team and the GitLab community as a whole.
What you'll bring
Experience with billing, subscriptions, or software fulfillment in an enterprise B2B environment. Alternatively, experience in related areas such as ecommerce, internal tooling, free-to-paid conversion, or product-led growth within an enterprise B2B context.
Experience fostering collaboration across multiple product teams and stakeholders.
Experience conducting your own research with a variety of methods, and strong decision making skills for when to do research.
Solid visual design skills with the ability to balance leveraging the design system and recognizing when a unique component is needed.
Familiarity with DevSecOps and the SDLC.
Familiarity with Git and HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.

Grade level and salary ranges are determined through interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. See more information on our benefits and equity. Sales roles are also eligible for incentive pay targeted at up to 100% of the offered base salary.

$100,000—$185,000 USD
