Senior Procurement Analyst
About the role:
The Senior Procurement Analyst provides operational and analytical support across the procure-to-pay (P2P) process. This role ensures accuracy and efficiency in requisitions purchase orders, vendor records and procurement data, while supporting compliance and reporting activities. The analyst may act as buyer for routine procurement needs that do not require strategic sourcing.
What you’ll be doing:
Procure to Pay (P2P) Operations:
Monitor and management of procurement queues (requisitions, PO creation, amendments, close-outs)
Review requisitions for accuracy, proper coding and policy compliance
Coordinate with requestors and approvers to resolve exceptions or missing details
Process purchase orders in ERP/procurement systems and ensure timely routing
Support PO changes, cancellations, and invoice matching issues
Vendor Data & System Support:
Maintain vendor master data
Assist with onboarding of new vendors in compliance with internal policies
Partner with AP to resolve vendor related issues
Perform regular data audits for accuracy and completeness
Compliance & Reporting
Ensure adherence to procurement and financial control policies
Run and maintain procurement dashboards and reports
Support internal audits and documentation requests
Identify and escalate exceptions or policy violations
Process Improvement
Identify recurring pain points and recommend process or system improvements
Supporting testing and implementation of procurement system updates or automation changes
Document SOPs and user guidance for internal stakeholders
What we'll want you to have:
BA in Business, Finance, Supply Chain or related field, or equivalent experience
2-4 years of experience in procurement, finance operations or shared services
Strong understanding of the P2P process
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP or e-procurement systems
Strong attention to detail, strong communicationskills and the ability to manage cross-functional workflows
Strong results-focused approach, with the ability to achieve and exceed goals while maintaininghigh standards of quality and efficiency.
excellent organization and planning abilities, effectively managing multiple projects and priorities to ensure timely and successful completion.
Skilled in negotiation and conflict management, adept at resolving issues and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders.
Proficient in risk and issue management, identifying potential challenges and implementing strategies to mitigate risks and address issues promptly.
Committed to process management and improvement, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance workflows and optimize performance.
Utilizes metrics and analysis to drive decision-making, leveraging data to inform strategies and measure success.
Strong interpersonal and relationship skills.
Ability to maintain emotional control and composure even under high stress
