Perform research and analysis to assist with the planning and development of doctor reimbursement objectives, and long-range strategic plans. Lead analysis and recommend changes to reimbursement methodologies to meet diverse and changing business needs. Coordinate maintenance of reimbursement-related data within business systems to ensure accurate doctor reimbursement.
Research and analyze complex fee-related issues in support of strategic goals; make recommendations to improve systems and processes and influence business decisions
Complete periodic fee review and analysis, using complex applications and a variety of data sources: recommend adjustments to doctor fees in accordance with established fee methodologies; make recommendations to overall fee strategy & methodology as appropriate
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of doctor and reimbursement systems, both automated and manual, as well as dependencies; participate in corporate & divisional project teams dealing with changes that primarily affect doctor reimbursement
Prepare detailed specifications, design, code, and test statistical and reporting programs, maintain and document programs
Provide consulting and research support to business partners to meet quality improvement needs
Maintain fee data and supporting information in corporate systems to ensure accurate doctor reimbursement
Communicate with doctors’ staff regarding fee concerns, clarification, or exceptions
Identify opportunities for improvement and develop/recommend solutions to streamline systems and processes ensuring maximum efficiency and appropriate utilization of resources
Stay informed of company strategic plans and long-term objectives, and maintain industry knowledge
Job Specifications
Typically has the following skills or abilities:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience
4+ years of experience with various types of business analysis, data modeling, and statistical analysis
4+ years of experience with financial analysis, making recommendations, and preparing business cases including cost-benefit analysis
Demonstrated ability to document, propose, negotiate, and present approaches and solutions
Ability to visualize and create plans for future business outcomes and changes
Thorough understanding of business implications and interdependencies
Proven ability to effectively communicate information to a wide variety of technical and non-technical individuals or groups at all levels of the organization and management
Proficient with word processing, spreadsheets, and SAS or other reporting applications
Ability to organize multiple projects and meet specific timelines
Critical thinking skills; ability to analyze details while maintaining 'big picture' perspective
Regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

Compensation range for the role is listed below. Applicable salary ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Salary Ranges: $63,000.00 - $108,675.00
