Senior Outsource Manager
Scopely is looking for a talented and experienced Outsource Manager to join our unannounced project in Barcelona on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub, Spain, the UK, Portugal or Ireland on a remote basis.

What You’ll Do
As a strategic member of the art team you will be influential in helping to manage and review the work from our outsource partners, predominantly environment assets. You will work in a collaborative environment to create a great working relationship with our partners. The ideal candidate will have a portfolio displaying a high level of ability and experience in this area.
Collaborating with Directors, Leads and Producers to plan and accomplish the strategic goals of the 3D Environment Art team
Responsible for working with the Art Director for outsourcing roadmap and driving strategic decisions around outsourcing approach and long-term partner relationships
Influence vendor selection, budgeting and contract negotiation alongside production
Work with various outsource vendors to ensure/maintain quality and delivery of assets for environments
Create or outlining briefs for standalone Environment assets varying in scale and complexity
Produce and lead the development of high-quality 3D game assets utilizing a variety of techniques including high-to-low poly workflows (Photoshop/Maya/Zbrush/Substance/Unity)
Verify the quality of assets from outsource partners, and make improvements where necessary to fit technical constraints, performance targets, and artistic direction
Identify efficiency improvements in workflows and articulate the scope/challenges to stakeholders
Foster a positive, creative, and professional working relationship with multiple outsource vendors
What We’re Looking For
Experience of at least 1 complete development cycle of a published game title as a outsource manager or similar in the games industry
Submission of a High-quality portfolio of gamedev-relevant 3D Environment Art work
Able to interpret and follow concepts and reference material to create organized, detailed, and accurate 3D environments and sets
Demonstrate high levels of proficiency in all development toolchains, able to advise outsource teams as to best practices or changing requirements Maya/zbrush/substance/high/low/hardsurface/material/Unity (preferred)
Understanding of technical constraints and model budgets for cross-platform production
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on results and driving projects/objectives forward
Superior communication, organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
Positive attitude and an ability to receive and provide objective feedback
Able to adapt to evolving project requirements and innovate solutions to problems
