SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The Senior Outbound Sales Associate represents our highest skilled inside sales person. This person will be counted on to use sales skill and talent to convert leads and opportunities into sales. The Senior Outbound Sales Associate is distinguished from the Outbound Sales Associate by consistently maximizing every opportunity. The Senior Outbound Sales Associate develops rapport, digs deep and wide to find pain points, and discovers opportunities.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead outbound sales efforts, identifying, qualifying, and closing high-potential leads for CBT Nuggets products.
Develop and nurture strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, acting as a trusted advisor for their IT training needs.
Deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our products to decision-makers.
Negotiate and close sales, consistently achieving and exceeding individual and team sales quotas.
Mentor and guide other sales team members, sharing best practices and contributing to their professional development.
Maintain meticulous records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in Salesforce.
Collaborate cross-functionally with all CBT Nuggets teams to optimize sales strategies.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to effectively position CBT Nuggets' offerings.
SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in outbound inside sales, preferably within the software, SaaS, or IT training industry.
Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Strong understanding of sales methodologies and Salesforce.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with IT training solutions or a strong understanding of IT concepts is a plus.
Must understand AI tools, and when and how to use them.
COMPENSATION & EMPLOYMENT TERMS:
This position is a full-time (40 hours per week) salaried position, exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Compensation: $100,000 annual salary.
One share of the company's profit-sharing plan is paid as a bonus each time the company reaches the “Distribution” milestone.
