About The Role

The Marketing team at FundraiseUp is looking for a Senior Marketing Automation Manager who will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing our marketing automation strategies. This role requires a blend of technical proficiency, creativity, analytical thinking, and leadership skills to effectively manage our marketing automation platforms and drive successful marketing campaigns. As a Marketing Automation Manager, you’ll have a fantastic opportunity to expand your multi-channel marketing, technology, and automations skills on a high-performing team that greatly impacts FundraiseUp´s business.

Key Responsibilities:

  •  Lead the development and execution of marketing automation strategies to support lead generation, nurturing, and conversion goals;

  •  Design and implement targeted email marketing campaigns, lead scoring models, and automated workflows to enhance customer engagement and retention;

  •  Develop and execute a scalable lifecycle marketing framework focused on delivering personalized communications via multiple channels to improve conversions, engagement, adoption, and loyalty;

  •  Data: be the protector of marketing data, ensuring it’s accurate and adheres to company privacy and data management policies;

  •  Journey Optimization: work with Operations team to analyze the effectiveness of customer acquisition and retention campaigns and the impact they have on end-to-end customer experience;

  •  Collaboration: train and upskill the marketing team, develop governance and use best practice methods and to ensure successful delivery of email marketing campaigns;

  •  Analyze and report on the effectiveness of marketing automation efforts, utilizing data to make strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement;

  • Lead the ongoing efforts of marketing automation best practices: database health and quality, lead list creation, programs, forms, and system assets for accurate, integrated reporting;

  • Develop a testing framework to continually assess the effectiveness of different approaches and strategies;

  • Perform day-to-day system maintenance and configuration, driving improvements and employing best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a power user of either Marketo, Hubspot or Pardot;

  •  Demonstrated success executing marketing campaigns, including database management; Smart List development; setup, testing, launching and scoring of campaigns and programs; and reporting on campaign analytics;

  • A track record of success with marketing activities, reporting, creating lists, building landing pages, configuring nurture tracks and promoting events;

  • Knowledge of HTML for cosmetic edits and alterations;

  • Creative thinker with a problem-solving mindset, always looking for innovative ways to engage audiences and drive results;

  • Experience in marketing automation for a high growth B2B Technology business;

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights;

  • Ability to pivot quickly and make fast decisions based on changing needs in a high growth environment;

  • Comfortable with working to tight deadlines and strong attention to detail;

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and project management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks across multiple projects;

  • Knowledge of GDPR, PECR and other relevant privacy regulations.
