About Sydnexis: Sydnexis Inc. is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company united by a single purpose: helping children see clearly. We are developing a proprietary, stable, topical eye drop designed to slow the progression of myopia, a disease that affects more children today than ever before. Our team has filed a New Drug Application (NDA) with the FDA for our patented formulation, marking an important milestone in redefining the standard of care in pediatric eye health. At our core, we believe every child deserves the chance to see their world, and their future, with clarity. This belief drives us every day. When you join Sydnexis, you become part of a mission bigger than any one of us: to challenge outdated standards, disrupt the status quo, and deliver innovations that truly matter. Here, you’ll find a tight-knit, purpose-driven team building something extraordinary together, and the opportunity to make a lasting impact on children’s lives. Position: The Senior Manager/Manager of Market Analytics and Insights will be responsible for gathering and integrating insights related to commercial products and the pipeline. This role aims to make strategic recommendations that positively impact business decisions and outcomes. The manager will oversee all primary and secondary research efforts, focusing on both strategic direction and implementation. Additionally, this role involves managing analytics related to price analysis and forecasting, and providing valuable input for strategic planning and monitoring key performance trends for marketed products. Role and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of strategic research.

  • Manage all vendor RFPs, develop discussion guides, and make recommendations on suitable research methodologies and budget management.

  • Present market research findings and strategic recommendations to commercial leadership.

  • Assess market opportunities and conduct forecasting to support business development efforts.

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to determine market size, patient flow, and potential product uptake.

  • Create forecasting models to evaluate commercial viability and guide future product in-licensing decisions.

  • Oversee the management of secondary research, including monitoring the pipeline and current competition.

  • Establish and maintain a process for integrating insights from various teams and sources (such as advisory boards, market research, business development, and medical conferences), proactively identifying knowledge gaps and incorporating findings into strategic planning, business reviews, and other relevant forums.

  • Collaborate across functions to incorporate research insights into regular business reviews, forecasts, strategic business planning, press releases, and board presentations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree is required.

  • At least 5  years of experience in market research in the pharmaceutical or biotech, particularly in smaller, early-stage companies with a focus on commercial planning.

  • Familiarity with secondary research sources.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure and within tight timelines, often in an environment with frequently changing priorities and limited supervision.

  • Flexibility and a proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across various functions.

  • Significant experience in creating slides and presenting complex data in a clear and cohesive narrative.

  • Excellent communication skills, including verbal, written, and presentation abilities.

This position is remote and requires occasional travel for business purposes. Sydnexis Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are committed to providing a work environment free of discrimination and harassment. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local law.
