Members can play, pause and resume watching as much as they want, anytime, anywhere, and can change their plans at any time.

The Team

The Security and Privacy Technical Program Management (TPM) team is a force multiplier for the Security, Privacy and Assurance organization; we partner closely with engineering and product teams across Netflix to deliver impactful and scalable security and privacy initiatives.  Our TPMs are technically adept and partner directly with product and engineering functions to align and mobilize teams to deliver high-impact business outcomes. The team has grown organically over the last few years and we are looking for an experienced leader to coach, mentor, and grow our TPMs, while also shaping the vision and strategy of the TPM function. The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and pragmatic leader to lead a subset of the SPA Technical Program Management (TPM) team. Your role will be pivotal in advancing our mission and fostering strong collaborations with both business and engineering stakeholders. The TPMs on this team are responsible for spearheading and managing programs within the Enterprise Security domain, such as Endpoint Management & Security and Vendor Security, as well as initiatives for Consumer Security, including Games, Live, DDoS, and Subscriber Account Security.

In this leadership position, you will shape and refine the overall vision and strategy for our TPM team. Your focus will be on implementing appropriately scaled practices and rituals that drive operational excellence within our organization and enhance cooperation with our partners and stakeholders.

Desired Background

  • Lead, grow, and mentor a team of Senior+ Technical Program Managers building an environment of teamwork, trust, and mutual success.

  • 7+ years of experience in managing Engineering or TPM teams.

  • You have an understanding of technical foundations in Security and Privacy, particularly Enterprise and Consumer Product Security spaces.

  • Deeply understand business and technical strategy to proactively identify high-impact programs.

  • Develop KPIs to measure effectiveness of programs and establish frameworks using program management principles that foster high quarterly, metrics-driven program delivery.

  • Partner with product and engineering teams to drive alignment, prioritization and critical decisioning on strategy and implementation of security and privacy program needs.

  • Navigate diverse stakeholder groups, forming and sustaining trusted relationships.

  • Passionate about leading by influence and advocating for change.

  • Strong hiring capabilities and building inclusive team environments.

  • You are an empathetic leader who cultivates a culture of psychological safety and inclusion where all team members can do their best work.

  • You are a meticulous and responsive cross-team communicator and program leader.

Our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $100,000 - $720,000.

Netflix provides comprehensive benefits including Health Plans, Mental Health support, a 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer match, Stock Option Program, Disability Programs, Health Savings and Flexible Spending Accounts, Family-forming benefits, and Life and Serious Injury Benefits.
