Why CBT Nuggets is a great place to work:

Work from anywhere. While we have an office in Eugene, Oregon, the majority of our team works remotely throughout the United States.

We take work-life balance seriously. You’ll work hard at CBT Nuggets, but you’ll also have plenty of time to relax and recharge. We recognize the importance of spending time with your family and friends — and having time for your hobbies and passions.

Enjoy creative freedom. Got ideas that could benefit our learners and organization? We embrace innovation. We are always open to new ideas — and welcome them from everyone on our team.

Get involved in great causes. NuggetLove, our charitable arm, is committed to making a difference. We support a wide range of issues ranging from education to social justice to supporting military personnel who are transitioning to civilian life.

SCOPE & GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB

The Senior Manager, Growth Marketing is responsible for optimizing the full marketing-to-sales pipeline — leading our efforts to generate leads, nurture prospects, and convert them into customers. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll develop and execute growth-focused strategies that drive measurable results across email, automation, social media, and inbound marketing programs.

This role oversees two direct reports (our Social Media Manager and Inbound Marketing Manager) and works closely with our Senior Manager of Content Marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and performance goals. You’ll own the systems, workflows, and campaigns that fuel our lead gen engine.

WHO ARE YOU?

  • You’re a strategic thinker who loves a good spreadsheet just as much as a strong subject line. With a background in email marketing and marketing automation, you’re data-driven and thrive on optimizing the customer journey — from awareness to MQL.

  • You bring senior-level consulting or in-house experience to the table and are just as comfortable in the weeds as you are setting vision. You’ve managed campaign calendars, built out automated nurture flows, and know what it takes to drive demand in a complex sales environment. You’re proactive, collaborative, and ready to lead a small team toward big growth.

MEASURES OF SUCCESS: Maintain and grow metrics in the following areas

  • MQL volume and conversion rate

  • Email engagement and lead nurture effectiveness

  • Social media engagement and referral traffic

  • Growth in lead quality, pipeline velocity, and contribution to revenue

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Generation & Pipeline Optimization

  • Own the strategy and execution for multi-channel lead generation efforts, including email, paid social, and content-driven campaigns

  • Monitor and improve conversion rates at each stage of the funnel

  • Partner with Sales to ensure alignment on lead quality and qualification

  • Email Marketing & Automation

  • Lead our email strategy across lifecycle, nurture, and promotional campaigns

  • Oversee campaign execution in Klaviyo, including segmentation, A/B testing, and reporting

  • Manage lead scoring and automated workflows between Klaviyo and Salesforce

  • Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Manage and mentor your vertical’s team members: Social Media Manager and Inbound Marketing Manager

  • Partner with colleagues within Marketing, Design, Sales, and Leadership to align messaging, campaigns, and lead gen priorities

  • Collaborate with our Learning Content and Learner Facing Teams (Support, Coaching) to support key launches and promotions

  • Growth Strategy & Analytics

  • Analyze performance metrics and present key insights and optimizations to the marketing team and leadership

  • Maintain dashboards and monthly reports on campaign effectiveness and funnel health

  • Stay current on digital trends, tools, and best practices for B2B growth

  • Platform Management & Optimization

  • Own marketing automation infrastructure (Klaviyo + Salesforce integration)

  • Recommend improvements to tech stack, integrations, and reporting tools

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • 5–7+ years of experience in B2B marketing with a strong focus on growth, email, and automation

  • Proven experience owning the marketing-to-sales funnel and driving measurable pipeline growth

  • Advanced knowledge of Klaviyo and Salesforce (including campaign tracking and reporting)

  • Previous experience managing direct reports and cross-functional projects

  • Comfortable with analytics platforms, A/B testing, and data-informed decision-making

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with day-to-day execution

BONUS POINTS IF YOU HAVE

  • Experience working in EdTech, SaaS, or IT training environments

  • Familiarity with attribution models, UTM tracking, and lead scoring strategies

  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Ads or paid social media campaigns

  • Remote work experience and comfort with asynchronous collaboration with colleagues across time zones.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

  • This position is a full-time (40 hours per week) salaried position, exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

  • Salary range: $95,000 - $115,000 depending on experience and skill level

  • Generous employee benefits
