Senior Manager - FP&A
General Summary:
The Sr. Manager of FP&A is responsible for leading a team of entry level to experienced professionals focused on entry level to experienced professionals focused on reporting financial performance to internal and external stakeholders. This role supports the senior finance leadership team by contributing to the growth and development of ConnectWise organization through effective financial planning.
Responsibilities:
Sets goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
Manages experienced professionals who exercise latitude and independence in assignments
Influences others outside of their own job regarding policies, practices, and procedures
Contributes to policy and strategy implementation for short-term results
Leads and prioritizes the daily activities of the team
Manages, mentors, and coaches to develop a collaborative and dynamic team
Coordinates cross-functional communication to align on initiatives and strategies to drive efficiency
Analyzes current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue drivers, operating costs and leading/lagging indicators, and benchmarking analyses
Monitors and interprets regular report results to identify key business opportunities and leading indicators of risks, advising the leadership team on appropriate actions
Recommends operational and financial process improvement practices to ensure data integrity and maximization of internal resources to create a robust internal reporting platform
Works with functional leaders to provide monthly performance packages with consumable findings of results and key drivers to support and facilitate future decisions within each function
Facilitates software metrics including bookings, Annual Percentage Rates (APRs), revenue, and product profitability
Optimizes business operations by developing data-driven analyses and KPI metrics to identify key trends, potential risks, and opportunities
Performs tasks at the highest level of accuracy and efficiency in accordance with US GAAP and the organization’s financial policies
Participates in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing, as needed
Working Conditions:
Onsite/Hybrid/Remote Depending on Location
