Reporting to the Head of Corporate Communications, the Senior Content Manager will play a pivotal role elevating ExtraHop’s voice through corporate and editorial outlets, engaging target audiences, and positioning the company as an industry leader.
This role will oversee the development and execution of long-form and short-form assets across various channels, ensuring alignment with ExtraHop’s business objectives. Leading the end-to-end content creation process - from editorial planning to publishing - this person will be responsible for understanding ExtraHop’s business, the cybersecurity market, and effective content marketing tactics, and converting those insights into digestible/actionable stories for the ExtraHop community and its stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that support ExtraHop’s marketing and business goals.
Create and manage editorial calendars focused on thought leadership and educational materials that showcase expertise in cybersecurity.
Craft compelling short-form and long-form content, including blog posts, articles, whitepapers, case studies, ebooks, website landing pages, etc.
Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and relevance of content.
Edit and proofread content to maintain consistency, quality, and alignment with ExtraHop messaging.
Optimize content for SEO to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
Track and analyze content performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
Stay up-to-date on industry trends, the competitive landscape, and emerging threats in cybersecurity, incorporating insights into the content strategy.
Qualifications
6-7 years of experience in content management or a similar role
Strong copywriting skills with the ability to create compelling and persuasive content
Experience with SEO and content optimization
Knowledge of content management systems and digital marketing tool
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field
Experience in an agency setting
The base salary for this role is between $140,000-155,000
