Senior Management Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Management Accountant to join our finance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing journal entries, posting bills, preparing balance sheet reconciliations, collaborating with tax advisors and auditors, and ensuring compliance with VAT requirements across multiple jurisdictions. Additionally, the Senior Accountant will support the controller with intercompany transaction reconciliations, prepare statistical and NBP reports.
Key responsibilities:
Post accurate and timely journal entries, bills, expense reports in accordance with accounting standards
Collaborate with tax advisors and external auditors during audits and tax compliance processes
Prepare VAT declarations for the UK, AT, DE and PL
Prepare and analyze statistical reports and NBP reports in PL and DE
Assist in ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, including VAT and CIT.
Support monthly Intercompany reconciliations
Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Participate in local and global projects, implementation of process changes and system enhancements (KSeF and JPK-CIT in PL, e-invoicing in DE)
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
Stay updated on financial regulations and accounting standard
Experience and Skills required:
University degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent
Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role
Very good knowledge of accounting and corporate finance principles and procedures
Well organized and able to work to deadlines
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and documented process improvement experiences
General understanding of tax regulation, including VAT and CIT
Strong English language skills
Nice to have – knowledge of NetSuite and experience with VAT regulations across European countries
