We are looking for a Senior Instructional Designer with 15+ years of experience to lead the creation and implementation of impactful learning programs tailored for sales enablement, specifically supporting Pinterest's Global Sales Organization (GSO). This role is ideal for a visionary in instructional design who excels at turning complex concepts into engaging learning experiences that empower our sales teams. As a senior team member, you'll help shape the future of our learning strategy by introducing innovative training solutions that align with Pinterest's unique business objectives. You'll collaborate closely with teams in sales, product, and marketing to ensure our programs effectively support our goals.

What you will do:

  • Design and implement strategic learning programs that align with Pinterest's business goals, ensuring proficiency and engagement across our global sales organization.

  • Create high-impact learning experiences using various modalities such as eLearning, video, in-person and virtual training, simulations, AI-driven learning paths, and microlearning—all with a focus on enabling our sales teams.

  • Develop multimedia-rich learning content, including interactive courses, scenario-based simulations, assessments, videos, podcasts, and presentations, tailored to Pinterest's unique needs.

  • Leverage tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Suite, Vyond, and After Effects to produce top-quality training materials that resonate with Pinterest's brand and culture.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and senior leadership to assess training needs, define success metrics, and influence Pinterest's learning strategies.

  • Manage large-scale learning initiatives, balancing multiple priorities while ensuring high-quality and timely delivery within Pinterest's fast-paced environment.

  • Utilize data and learning analytics to assess program effectiveness, iterate on content, and continuously improve learner outcomes, aligning with Pinterest's commitment to innovation and excellence.

  • Drive the future of learning at Pinterest by implementing cutting-edge learning strategies and technologies that support our sales enablement efforts.

  • Play a pivotal role with high visibility, working closely with cross-functional partners to influence global training initiatives and grow your career in a strategic, high-growth environment at Pinterest.

What we're looking for:

  • 15+ years of instructional design expertise in corporate learning, with a strong focus on sales enablement and experience supporting global sales teams.

  • Deep expertise in adult learning theory, instructional design methodologies (such as ADDIE, Agile/SAM, and Design Thinking), and content strategy, aligning with Pinterest's innovative culture.

  • Experience developing scalable learning programs that empower sales teams to excel.

  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple initiatives, manage stakeholders, and deliver high-quality training solutions on time within Pinterest's dynamic environment.

  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, capable of translating complex information into clear, engaging, and instructionally sound content that supports Pinterest's sales objectives.

  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders, drive strategic alignment, and measure learning impact using data-driven insights tailored to Pinterest's goals and culture.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business administration or equivalent experience.

  • Experience incorporating AI, adaptive learning, and gamification into training programs that support sales enablement at Pinterest.

  • Knowledge of SCORM, xAPI, and accessibility standards, ensuring inclusivity and compliance in Pinterest's learning initiatives.

  • Background in sales enablement, advertising, or technical training, ideally within a digital or social media environment like Pinterest.
