Position Summary:

Lou Bacchi, Director of IT Project Management for the Information Technology team at Perforce is searching for a Senior IT Project Manager to join the team. The Senior IT Project Manager at Perforce has comprehensive knowledge of IT project management principles and Agile methodologies.  Operating with a high degree of autonomy, this role leads cross-functional teams to deliver complex initiatives in fast-paced, iterative environments. The individual is expected to manage diverse project scopes, adapt to evolving priorities, and drive continuous improvement across multi-functional business processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage complex IT projects with minimal supervision, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.

  • Mentor team members, providing guidance and support to enhance team capabilities.

  • Act with a high degree of autonomy in decision-making and problem-solving across diverse project scopes.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder communications to ensure project success.

  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.

  • Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies, and procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Facilitate regular status meetings and provide updates to senior leadership and stakeholders.

  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee third-party deliverables as needed.

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating project outcomes and recommending process enhancements.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT project management with a proven track record of successful project delivery.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal instruction on day-to-day tasks and general guidance on new assignments.

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and mentor junior colleagues.

  • Proficient in project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Teams, or equivalent.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

  • Experience working in a technical environment with understanding of IT infrastructure, hybrid cloud architecture and software development.

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred.

$90,800 - $130,500 a year

Additionally, this position is eligible for benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, retirement benefits, life insurance, wellness programs, total time off, and other employee perks that may be offered by Perforce from time to time. The actual offer will depend on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s education, skills, qualifications, depth of experience and other relevant business considerations.
