Senior Game Producer - Strategic Initiatives

Netflix is looking for a versatile and engaged Senior Game Producer, Strategic Initiatives, to join our dynamic Games Production team and contribute to our goal of bringing best-in-class games to our members. As a Netflix Games Strategic Initiatives team member, you are a service-leader at the forefront of supporting, managing, and delivering high-quality games and experiences to our portfolio. Working with our Strategic Initiatives Production Team, you will be responsible for a variety of diverse projects and interactive experiences. You will guide teams of game developers and cross-functional partners to ensure predictable delivery, schedule, budget, and scope with the highest quality outcomes to surprise and delight our members.
This role is remote with PST time zone preferred. We hold quarterly in-person on-sites at our Los Angeles or Los Gatos offices, and other short periodic travel is possible.
Responsibilities:
Partner with cross-functional teams to conduct thorough project due diligence.
Align to strategic direction and provide feedback and support to game teams and cross-functional partners to execute on the quality and business goals for your games.
Define and oversee milestone deliverables and project production, identifying and assessing project risks to provide expert recommendations and ensure predictable delivery timelines.
Foster effective collaboration and problem-solving with development teams and cross-functional partnerships to drive successful game development.
Plan and manage Live Service transition points, collaborating with partners to achieve a smooth handover and continuing high quality operations.
Utilize data-driven insights to inform decisions and improve key performance indicators towards the business goals.
Mentor and support the growth of other producers.
Requirements:
8+ years of game development production experience.
Demonstrated strong understanding of craft in game art, design, development, production, publishing, and business development.
Experience in dedicated, service-oriented leadership of game development teams and cross-functional partners (whether direct or indirect leadership).
Ability to solve problems in new ways and to influence processes and tools that improved project outcomes.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
Ability to manage and deliver multiple projects simultaneously.
Passion for collaboration, continuous learning, and professional development.
Commitment to fostering an inclusive and diverse work environment.
Adaptability to change and maintaining composure in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
Having combined experience in both 1P & 2P/3P game development production in AAA console or Forever-Live Service mobile games, is a big plus.
Generally, our compensation structure consists solely of an annual salary; we do not have bonuses. You choose each year how much of your compensation you want in salary versus stock options. To determine your personal top of market compensation, we rely on market indicators and consider your specific job family, background, skills, and experience to determine your compensation in the market range. The range for this role is $230,000 - $340,000.
