A bit about frontend at Bud
As a Frontend Engineer, you'll be key to building our inclusive digital experiences. We're a React shop that prioritizes AA accessibility compliance, ensuring our financial institution clients meet their legal and ethical obligations.
You'll be working with a modern stack including:
- React Router 7/Remix for routing
- Tailwind and Shadcn/Radix for styling
- A Turborepo monorepo setup
- Deployment at the edge with Cloudflare Pages/Workers
- Vitest and Playwright for testing
We believe in a highly collaborative environment with plenty of room for individual autonomy.
Responsibilities
Delivering technical solutions autonomously and in collaboration with the team
Driving conversations and initiatives with other frontend developers and the team; sharing knowledge and contributing to technical best practices
Building strong relationships within the team and wider organisation, actively mentoring and supporting through technical guidance and feedback
Keeping up to date with new tools and practices, continuously seeking to improve your own technical expertise, domain knowledge and skills
Communicating effectively in both technical and non-technical discussions
Confident in making appropriate trade-offs in project scoping and delivery considering maintainability, scalability, and time to deliver in collaboration with the team and other stakeholders
Working closely with our design team to align on UX/UI implementation
A bit about you
Proficient in TypeScript & React
You care deeply about best practices and are passionate about clean, scalable and performant code
Experienced in delivering React projects that interact with REST APIs
Passionate about web accessibility
You drive quality standards and ensure thorough testing in your work across unit and E2E tests

💰Competitive Salaries - We have benchmarked this role between £75,000 - £95,000
