  • Lead and contribute to initiatives improving Core Web Vitals, including LCP, INP, and TTI, using RUM tooling and CI/CD enforcement.

  • Contribute to improvements in our build pipeline, accessibility, and caching strategies to ensure robust user experiences.

  • Document decisions, processes, and patterns to improve knowledge sharing and onboarding.

  • Participate in authoring and maintaining Gherkin-style .feature files to define functional and performance coverage.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience building modern web applications with frameworks such as React, including custom server-rendered stacks (e.g., React with Express, Vite SSR) or meta-frameworks like Next.js or Remix.

  • Familiarity with technical SEO principles including content discoverability, site performance, canonicalization, and accessibility.

  • Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and building isomorphic or server-rendered web apps.

  • Understanding of web performance measurement (e.g., Core Web Vitals) and strategies to improve them, including LCP, TTI, INP, and TBT

  • Experience with web build tooling (Webpack, Vite, Parcel, etc)

  • Knowledge working with and designing APIs (REST, GraphQL, etc)

  • Comfort working in a cross-functional environment, collaborating with marketers, designers, and analysts.

  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and technologies, (Playwright, Jest/Vitest, Gherkin, etc)

  • Practical experience using SEO tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or similar.

  • A growth mindset and willingness to continuously improve systems, skills, and tooling.
