The cash compensation for this role is tailored to align with the cost of labor in different geographic markets. We've structured the base pay ranges for this role into zones for our geographic markets, and the specific base pay within the range will be determined by the candidate’s geographic location, job-related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills.

Zone B $141,600 - $212,800

This role is also eligible to participate in Webflow's company-wide bonus program. Target amounts are a percentage of base salary and vary by career level. Payouts are based on company performance against established financial and operational goals.

Build performant, accessible, and scalable user interfaces using TypeScript, React, Next.js, Jest, Storybook, and Webflow’s Spring Design System.
Own features end-to-end from design handoff through implementation, launch, and iteration — ensuring a polished, user-centric experience at every stage.
Partner closely with design, product, and engineering teams to deliver user-centric features, optimize performance, and ensure seamless user experiences.
Drive improvements to the frontend + backend codebase and introduce best practices around accessibility, performance, maintainability, and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues with urgency, clarity, and a focus on delivering reliable and resilient experiences.
Mentor junior engineers, fostering their growth in frontend technologies (with exposure to backend fundamentals) and instilling best practices in scalable, maintainable code.
Stay current with emerging frontend frameworks, tooling, and trends. Evaluate and implement new technologies to improve development workflows and enhance user interfaces.

Have 5+ years of experience as a frontend/UI engineer with some backend exposure, and a proven track record of shipping high-quality features to production.
Are highly proficient in React, Next.js, and modern CSS patterns, and know how to architect scalable, maintainable interfaces.
Possess a deep understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript, with the ability to write clean, efficient, and reliable code.
Are comfortable with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Playwright, Cypress, Mocha) and value automated testing as part of the development process.
Treat web accessibility as a first-class priority and incorporate it into design and development from the start.
Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative, cross-functional teams, working closely with design, product, and backend partners.
Embrace an agile, iterative, and safe-to-fail environment, balancing speed with quality and long-term maintainability.
