Senior Front end Developer

Blanc Labs is looking for a motivated Senior Front-End Developer who has a passion for combining the art of design with the art of programming. We are looking for someone with experience in translating UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce visual elements of the application and in developing secure and scalable web applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop new user-facing applications from scratch

• Build reusable code and libraries for future use

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability

• Creating prototypes and mockups, managing brand quality consistency and designing high-quality graphic images

• Working with back-end developers to improve usability

• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

• Develop the standards of codes and libraries to ensure easy traceability

• Create, develop, maintain and document new user-friendly web pages by using markup languages such as HTML

• Staying up to date with current trends and emerging technologies

What You'll Need To Be Successful:

• Degree and/or Diploma in computer science or related technical field

• 5+ years of experience working in front-end development

• 3+ years of experience with front end frameworks, including React and TypeScript

• Proficient in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and Git

• Knowledge of and experience in developing secure web applications with OAuth and responsive web design principles

• Strong understanding and knowledge of production deployment patterns for front-end applications

• Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX

• Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS & SASS

• Strong attention to detail

• Comfortable working in an agile environment and using scrum methods

• Excellent problem solving and optimization skills

• Strong verbal and written communication in english
