Senior Event Manager
We're looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Event Manager (m/f/d) to strengthen our central marketing team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for the strategic planning, organization, and execution of all our national and international events – from large trade shows and exhibitions to webinars and in-house customer events. You'll work in a data-driven manner to measure the success of our events, ensuring that each one is optimally utilized for both internal and external communication. Your position in our team
Strategic Planning & Budget Management: Develop an annual event strategy in alignment with marketing and company goals, along with responsible management of the event budget.
End-to-End Event Management: Concept development, planning, organization, and execution of a variety of events, including:
International and national trade shows and exhibitions (e.g., FIBO 2026).
Webinars and digital events.
In-house events.
Stakeholder Management: Close collaboration and alignment with internal stakeholders (e.g., sales, product, management) and external partners (e.g., stand builders, agencies, service providers).
Content Coordination: Align exhibition appearances, presentations, and event content to effectively convey our messages.
Communication & Optimization: Maximize the use of events for internal and external communication purposes (e.g., press releases, social media content, customer retention)
Success Measurement & Improvement: Data-driven analysis of event performance, creation of reports, and derivation of measures for continuous improvement.
Forward Thinking: Proactive identification of trends and opportunities in the event sector to increase efficiency and impact.
Your Profile
Experience: 5+ years of relevant professional experience in event management, ideally in a B2B environment or a fast-paced corporate setting. Experience in planning large-scale events is a plus.
Language Skills: Fluent German and English, both written and spoken, are mandatory.
Organizational Talent: Excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and to prioritize in a dynamic environment.
Hands-on Mentality: A proactive, solution-oriented approach to work and the willingness to tackle operational tasks yourself.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, as well as the ability to convey complex issues clearly and concisely.
Data Affinity: Analytical mindset and experience in data-driven event management for success measurement and optimization.
Team Player: A collaborative personality who enjoys working in a team and inspiring others.
Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for event execution.
