Senior Director of Pricing Strategy
Locations: Broomfield, CO; Remote US (Central Time or Eastern Time Zones preferred) Reports to: Chief Product Officer
A quick snapshot… As a strategic and analytical Senior Director of Pricing Strategy, you’ll lead Conga’s pricing strategy and bring best-in-class pricing and packaging practices to life. This high-impact and hands-on role is all about building scalable, value-based monetization models that align with our business goals. You’ll work cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure our pricing drives adoption, expansion, and long-term customer value.
Why it’s a big deal… Pricing is one of the most powerful levers for growth—and this role puts you in the driver’s seat. You’ll shape how Conga monetizes its product portfolio, influence go-to-market success, and help us stay competitive in a rapidly evolving SaaS landscape. Your work will directly impact revenue, customer satisfaction, and our ability to scale efficiently. By optimizing our pricing strategy, you’ll help Conga stay ahead of the curve and deliver pricing strategies that work for both the business and our customers.
Are you the person we’re looking for?
Strategic pricing experience. You bring over a decade of experience in B2B SaaS pricing, monetization, or strategy, with a proven ability to lead pricing initiatives that drive measurable business outcomes. You’ve owned a pricing strategy for solutions with AI technology – you’ve led the design and implementation of usage-based, tiered, or hybrid pricing models with packaging/bundling that drove growth, profitability, and retention. You’ve built or managed pricing governance frameworks that ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability across the organization.
Analytical and financial acumen. You have a well-rounded understanding of business, finance, and Software as a Service (SaaS). You have strong analytical skills and financial modeling expertise, with a desire to understand the skews, assumptions, and details. You’re comfortable building pricing scenarios, evaluating elasticity, and supporting complex business decisions with data. You use all of the information to form robust and quality recommendations backed by data.
Influence decisions. You have an ability to shape strategic outcomes by presenting data-driven insights in a compelling way. Whether you're aligning executive stakeholders or guiding operational teams, you know how to tailor your message to the audience and drive consensus around complex pricing strategies. Because of the transparency, authenticity, humility, and knowledge you bring, your peers, partners, and business leaders trust the information you provide to influence key decisions.
Clear, deliberate, and collaborative communicator. You don’t just engage in collaborative discussions; you initiate them regularly. You are clear and concise when you speak and write -- and even creative in terms of ensuring your messages are received and understood. You leave no room for assumptions or misunderstanding, and ensure decisions are aligned with business goals.
Quality oriented. You rarely make mistakes because you have good processes in place to ensure that every detail is correct. But in those rare occasions when errors are realized (let’s face it, it happens to the best of us from time to time), you own them, correct them, learn from them, and then quickly adjust and communicate processes to ensure the same mistake doesn’t happen twice.
Here’s what will give you an edge…
Enablement and tooling. You’ve developed pricing enablement tools, guardrails, and resources that empower Sales and Customer Success teams to execute effectively and confidently.
Champion of the Customer. You understand that customers are one of business’ most important assets and you take that seriously. You think like a customer and design pricing strategies that enhance adoption, retention, and long-term value. You’re always looking for ways to align pricing with customer success.
Industry expertise. Understanding of Revenue Lifecycle Management software (CPQ & CLM) would allow you to hit the ground running.
Education. You hold a bachelor’s degree in business, economics, data science, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a strong plus.
