As the Senior Director of IAM Engineering, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our IAM capabilities. We're looking for more than just a technical expert; we want someone who is empathetic, understands the intricacies of engineering leadership, and specializes in the authentication and authorization space.
What You'll Do
Lead, mentor and inspire our IAM engineering team, providing the guidance and support needed to deliver exceptional results
Develop and execute strategic initiatives to enhance our IAM capabilities, aligning with both business objectives and industry best practices
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define IAM requirements, design scalable solutions, and implement effective security controls
Drive the evolution of our IAM systems, including identity lifecycle management, access controls, authentication, and authorization mechanisms
Stay ahead of emerging technologies and trends in IAM, recommending and implementing solutions to improve our security posture and operational efficiency
Cultivate strong relationships with vendors and third-party providers to ensure the delivery of high-quality products and services
Establish and uphold governance processes, policies, and standards related to IAM, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
What You’ll Need
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 12 years related experience, or equivalent experience
Minimum 8 years of direct people management experience, including leading Directors and Managers
Preferred Qualifications
3+ years of experience in IAM engineering leadership
Deep understanding of IAM concepts, protocols, and technologies, such as SAML, OAuth, LDAP, Active Directory, and multi-factor authentication
Experience implementing and maintaining an IAM system
Experience with modern SaaS applications and IAM solutions, including familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Demonstrated ability to drive innovation, implement process improvements, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Travel & Remote Work Opportunities

How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $191,000.00 - $325,000.00
✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
✅ 401(k) match and comprehensive employee benefits package
The salary range represents the low and high end of the salary range for this job in the US. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and other relevant factors.
