Consensys is the leading blockchain and web3 software company founded by Joe Lubin, CEO of Consensys and Co-Founder of Ethereum. Since 2014, Consensys has been at the forefront of innovation, pioneering technological developments within the web3 ecosystem.

Through our product suite, including the MetaMask platform, Infura, Linea, Diligence, and our NFT toolkit Phosphor, we have become the trusted collaborator for users, creators, and developers on their path to build and belong in the world they want to see.

Whether building a dapp, an NFT collection, a portfolio, or a better future, the instinct to build is universal. Consensys inspires and champions the builder instinct in everyone by making web3 universally easy to use and develop on.

Our mission is to unlock the collaborative power of communities by making the decentralized web universally easy to access, use, and build on.

You’ll get to work on the tools, infrastructure, and apps that scale these platforms to onboard one billion participants and 5 million developers. You’ll be constantly exposed to new concepts, ideas, and frameworks from your peers, and as you work on different projects — challenging you to stay at the top of your game. You’ll join a network of builders that reaches the edge of our ecosystem. Consensys alumni have moved on to become tech entrepreneurs, CEOs, and team leads at tech companies.

About People and Talent

People and Talent support the members of our Consensys community. We strive to be the destination employer of choice for our ecosystem. That goal is embedded in all the work we do to attract, retain and support our incredible talent.

Compensation and Benefits is a small but mighty team and as a Senior Director of this team you will serve as a trusted leader, responsible for evolving Consensys’ compensation philosophy and strategically managing inclusive employee benefits and services that support our geographically diverse and remote workforce.

What you’ll do

As a hands-on leader, you will bring a deep understanding of designing and scaling compensation and benefits programs and practices. You should have a proven track record of conceptualizing and executing successful strategies, leading action plans, and driving the achievement of organizational goals. This role requires both strategic thinking and strong tactical execution skills. You should be comfortable working in ambiguity, enjoy new challenges and have high levels of curiosity about blockchain and token compensation plans (experience in token compensation is also most welcome!).

No two days are the same, you’ll have plenty of variety and work with a diverse group of incredible individuals who put ‘people first’ and are serious about building the workplace of the future. Not to mention that we have a lot of fun too!

If you are a positive, self-motivated, and collaborative person who is excited about bringing your experience to Consensys, then we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, own, and continuously enhance Global Total Rewards programs, including Benefits, Health and Wellness, Pension/Retirement plans, Equity Compensation and Token Compensation.

  • Maintain a strong understanding of market data and trends to drive best-in-class programs.

  • Design and recommend global benefits programs by assessing Consensys’ needs, reviewing competitor and industry practices, and analyzing cost-effectiveness.

  • Managing global annual benefits renewals and Open Enrollment cycles.

  • Lead the framework that supports the annual compensation cycle, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and market standards.

  • Partner with the People Partner and Talent Acquisition Teams to provide strategic advice on compensation and benefits.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 8+ years' relevant experience in compensation, equity programs, and benefits planning.

  • Experience with effectively designing and scaling a rewards function to support the company's business goals and growth, with a strong awareness of best practices.

  • Experience in token compensation program design and delivery or strong curiosity and enthusiasm to learn

  • Expertise in the development of strategy and administration of compensation and benefits (including executive compensation)

  • Demonstrated understanding of the complexity of business on a global scale.

  • Demonstrated ability in managing internal compliance programs and policies.

  • Exceptional communication instincts & practices that keep stakeholders informed and included in a way that builds trust.
