Senior Compliance Operations Analyst
Why this role matters:
The Senior Carrier Operations Analyst will be working closely with the other members of the team, owning the hands-on execution of compliance obligations related to voice, messaging and number registration. You'll manage regulatory and MNO engagements, monitor industry trends and ensure operational compliance is maintained across carrier operations and the wider company.
Your key responsibilities:
Direct engagement with MNOs and regulators for compliance submissions and inquiries (e.g. KYC/KYB uploads, SID validations)
Drive registration with regulatory authorities and certification bodies across multiple markets
Maintain and administer regulatory accounts/portals (e.g. Irish ComReg, APNF, ACMA)
Respond to operational compliance requests from Sales and Carrier Relations (e.g. provide evidence of regulatory status, customer-specific documentation)
Prepare and submit ongoing reports (e.g. traffic compliance, fraud monitoring, license updates)
Maintain and audit compliance documentation repositories (e.g. license and registration archives)
Monitor ticket queues (e.g., JIRA) for incoming compliance tasks and triage/escalate accordingly
Track recurring regulatory activities and escalate trends or market risks to Product and Leadership
Coordinate registration of new numbers or sender IDs in carrier-specific portals within time-sensitive SLAs
Stay on top of STIR/SHAKEN, CLI authentication, SID protection rules and fraud regulation updates
Identify risks or inefficiencies in operational workflows and recommend remediation
What you'll bring
5+ years experience in telecom operations, number management or carrier relations
Deep understanding of KYC/KYB, regulatory registration and telecom compliance protocols
Experience with RCS, short codes, TFNs and global messaging/voice markets
Familiarity with industry regulations (e.g., OFCOM, ACMA, JUSA, etc.)
Strong documentation and portal management skills
Experience in ticketing systems (JIRA) and collaboration tools (Confluence, Slack, etc.)
Comfortable working across cross-functional teams in a regulated environment
