SCOPE OF THE ROLE:
The Commissions Analyst will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and analytics related to Cision commission plans. The role is required to work collaboratively within the Sales leadership, Sales Operations teams, Finance, and HR organization as well as interacting with a range of stakeholders across the business to ensure key materials are created, organized, and easily accessible to the sales organization. The ideal candidate in this role will demonstrate strong technical skills, analytical mindset, deadline driven, detail oriented, and able to multitask in a dynamic environment.
Skills and Experience
Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of accuracy and accountability.
Stakeholder management skills, with exceptional oral and written communication skills.
Strong process management, analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
Bachelor’s degree required.
5-7 years of experience in commissions with experience in administration of sales commission plans.
Strong knowledge of sales commission concepts, sales data tracking systems, processes and methodologies and has experience working with large volumes of data.
Strong technical skills and analytical skills. High proficiency of Microsoft Excel required and having knowledge of Salesforce.com is preferred.
Collaborative and team-oriented attitude with strong attention to detail, organized and thorough with a desire for continuous process improvements.
Areas of Responsibilities
This individual will be responsible for validating, reconciling and reporting on all commission calculations, and will work closely with various cross -functional teams to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all commission payments and associated reporting.
Ownership of the day-to-day administration and issue resolution for monthly commissions.
Conduct sophisticated analysis of data from multiple sources to build various compensation models for payment calculation or analysis, while ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Perform audits of all data sources to confirm accuracy and functionality of system/process and manage issue resolution with appropriate teams as necessary.
Provide timely responses and issue resolution, escalating as appropriate, to inquiries from all levels in the organization.
Execute and create commission training curriculum, content, and materials.
Identify and support process improvement efforts, while readily accepting new opportunities to simplify and standardize processes.
Perform the duties as assigned.
$60,000 - $90,000 a year
Cision is required to disclose a salary range for this role. This compensation is specific to the state(s) listed below, however base pay may vary depending on a range of relevant factors.
California $60,000-90,000
Colorado $60,000-90,000
New York $60,000-90,000
Washington $60,000-90,000
