Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer (m/f/d) to join our Transaction & Customer Team within the Checkout Unit – onsite in Hamburg or remotely within Germany.
Our team ensures a seamless shopping experience by managing the entire order lifecycle – from cart to payment, including chargebacks, refunds, and promotions. A key focus is COBA, a core backend service handling orders, payments, and customer data.
What you will do
5+ years of experience with PHP, with a strong focus on modern development.
Proven expertise in Symfony, following best practices for scalable applications.
Golang experience is a plus.
Solid understanding of engineering principles and software architecture.
Strong experience with MySQL & Redis.
Fluent English communication skills.
Who you are
Proactive problem solver with a strong sense of responsibility and eager to learn.
Able to handle complex technical tasks independently
team player, ensuring high-quality, technically sound solutions that amplify team efforts.
