What you’d be doing in this role
As a Senior 3D Designer within our Mockups group, you will play a pivotal role in driving the quality and innovation of our 3D content while closely collaborating with our Program Manager and Content Lead. This is a senior-level design role focused on producing outstanding 3D content and mentoring two designers to achieve their full potential.
You’ll be an integral part of the team, contributing your technical expertise and creativity to support the team’s goals, while working alongside the Program Manager and Art director to align 3D efforts with overall content strategies and priorities.

At the moment, this role is focused on:
Innovate and Explore: Work on projects involving the creation of new products and processes. This includes learning new tools and workflows, solving unique challenges, and embracing the unknown to build innovative solutions.
Lead 3D Design: Drive the creation of high-quality 3D assets, such as models, textures, and animations, to elevate Canva’s user experience.
Optimize Workflows: Streamline the 3D production pipeline to improve efficiency and scalability while maintaining creative excellence.
Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with product managers, engineers, and designers to ensure 3D content aligns with project objectives and user needs.
Set Quality Standards: Establish and maintain quality benchmarks for 3D content, providing feedback and support to ensure consistency.
Drive Initiatives Forward: Take ownership of key 3D projects, ensuring deadlines are met and deliverables exceed expectations.

Canva’s journey in the Czech Republic began with the game-changing acquisition of Liberec-founded Smartmockups in 2021. This strategic move enabled us to leverage our expertise in standalone products and dive into the development of innovative product visualization features with the goal of bringing mockups to millions of Canva users worldwide.
In the Czech Republic, our dedicated team of 40 talented Canvanauts is diligently leading the creation of cutting-edge mockup products. In addition, we're actively engaged in many other magic projects, keeping our innovative spirit alive.
While our team may be relatively small, we have a tremendous impact on the global stage, reaching hundreds of millions of users worldwide.
