Security Program Manager - Academy
Position Summary:
The Security Program Manager, Academy promotes an understanding of security as it applies to ITSPs and their partners. While primarily focused on an external audience, they will also collaborate to various internal teams to execute complex projects that are aligned with business goals (Plan8), taking care to work with current Pax8 Brand owners and visionaries to serve their KBO and maintaining brand image. The Program Manager develops and maintains a reputation at Pax8 and within the channel for being an Security Thought Leader by creating original content and promoting personal and Pax8 personas in the MSP, SMB, and Mid-Market business arenas.
Personal Contribution:
The Security Program Manager will provide expert knowledge and support to partners, the wider solution provider community and the Pax8 team to provide clarity for solution providers and their SMB customers around Security systems and empowerment and readiness. They will help partners reduce risk, become operationally efficient in their Security practice, and guide partners to the growth market opportunities for solution providers to help their SMB customers.
Essential Responsibilities (includes, but is not limited to):
Work within the Academy Team to create and deliver compelling Security content, including packaged services, training, products, and events, for Pax8 partners.
Collaborate with all regions and their respective Security teams on Security trends and industry updates, curating for MSPs and Vendor Partners to highlight developments they need to be aware of and promoting that content on Pax8 systems (both included and premium.)
Identify products and services for Product team and ensure Academy understands their function and value, and document how they benefit our Partners and their clients.
Serve in an advisory role to the wider AMER Partner Services function for products, Security, Development, Channel, BD, SE, etc.
Provide feedback from the business units to the CISO, CTSO and/or Executive team.
Act as a primary stakeholder liaising with Corporate functions and regional Marketing teams around Security content to ensure alignment with SMEs and partner communications.
Create video and audio content for PR and media with Vendors and Partners alike to promote the overall understanding of the “Security Journey of the MSP/SMB/Vendor” respectively to build the brand of Thought Leadership.
Hold Product Vision Meetings and represent Pax8 at Channel Events for the express purpose of;
Understanding the fast-moving Security landscape.
Simplify complex conversations and walkthrough best practices.
Gather and report Security indicators from partners, vendors and other bodies to Director of Academy Coaching, and Senior Director of Academy.
Drive your own personal development and performance improvements by participating in learning paths on Elev8, taking part in Pax8 L&D programs, receiving peer or manager coaching, taking on stretch projects or on the job training.
Ideal Skills, Experience, and Competencies:
Substantial Security experience required ideally in the SMB marketplace
Knowledge of the Americas Security Landscapes

Required Education & Certifications:
B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience
Familiarity with Security frameworks, such as CMMC, NIST 500/NIST 800, NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
Experience with Power BI.
Compensation:
Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $101,000/yr to $126,000/yr or more depending on experience.
