Security Infrastructure and Operations Manager
Position Overview
Netwrix is seeking an experienced and strategic Security Infrastructure and Operations Manager to lead our global security operations and infrastructure protection programs. In this fully remote roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role, you will be responsible for the resilience, performance, and scalability of our enterprise security infrastructure.
Reporting to the CISO, you will oversee the implementation and management of security controls across global, hybrid environments. You will drive operational excellence within our Security Operations Center (SOC), lead infrastructure hardening initiatives, and ensure that Netwrix’s security posture meets both business and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
Security Infrastructure Leadership
Design and manage security architecture and tools: SIEM, endpoint protection, vulnerability management, identity and access platforms, email security, etc.
Lead security automation and process maturity across cloud (Azure/AWS) and on-prem environments
Champion secure configuration management and Zero Trust architecture initiatives
Security Operations Oversight
Oversee day-to-day operations of the global Security Operations Center (internal and/or MSSP partners)
Lead incident detection, response, and escalation processes
Track and report on security operations KPIs and risk metrics
Governance, Risk & Compliance Support
Ensure alignment between technical controls and frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, and GDPR
Support readiness for audits and security assessments
Collaborate closely with GRC and IT teams to embed compliance into operations
Cross-Functional Leadership
Partner with Engineering, DevOps, Product Security, and IT teams to integrate security into infrastructure and DevSecOps practices
Manage and mentor a globally distributed team of security engineers and analysts
Advise the CISO and executive leadership on operational risk and maturity
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
5+ years in information security, with 2 years in leadership roles
Experience in a SaaS, cloud-first, or hybrid IT environment
Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Okta, Entra ID, Cortex XDR, Crowdstrike Falcon, Azure DevOps, Defender for Cloud, and more
Strong incident response, threat management, and infrastructure protection experience
Demonstrate current and desired use of GenAI / LLMs to augment the security team
Familiarity with regulatory standards and enterprise risk frameworks
Certifications (Preferred)
CISSP, CISM, GIAC, or similar certifications
Azure or AWS security certifications a plus
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Computer Science, Information Security, etc.)
Master’s degree preferred but not required
