The Motley Fool Foundation is looking for an experienced Salesforce Consultant with a knack for optimization and organization to help us enhance our use of the Salesforce platform. This is a fully remote, part-time, ongoing independent contractor role. We’re anticipating roughly 20 hours per week. While we are flexible with schedules, we’d like the majority of this work to be conducted during normal business hours.

What would you do in this role?
The Motley Fool Foundation team is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce consultant to join our team. As a Salesforce consultant, you will be responsible for helping our organization optimize and enhance its use of the Salesforce platform. Your main duties will include analyzing our current Salesforce setup, identifying opportunities for improvement, and implementing custom solutions to meet our business needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Salesforce platform and configuration, as well as experience with Salesforce integration and customization. Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently are also required.
Okay, but what would you actually do in this role?
Evaluate our current Salesforce setup and identify areas for improvement.
Customize Salesforce to meet our business needs.
Integrate Salesforce with other tools and systems we use.
Provide training and support to our team.
Ensure data integrity and implement best practices for data management.
Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance metrics.
Integrate data analytics tools to increase data analytics.
Troubleshoot and resolve any Salesforce-related issues.
Required Skills and Experience:
At least 3-5 years of experience within Salesforce
Proven experience as a Salesforce consultant or in a similar role.
Salesforce certification(s) such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or equivalent.
Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture and API
Experience with Salesforce Lightning.
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Account Engagement (Pardot)
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience in providing user training and support.
Even better if you have:
Experience working in a nonprofit or a startup environment
Experience with NonProfit Success Pack
Familiarity with integration tools and techniques.
Familiarity with The Motley Fool and/or a passion for investing
