Reporting to the Revenue Operations Manager, this role will be a Salesforce Administrator / Business Systems Analyst for our revenue tech stack with a major focus on Salesforce administration.
What You’ll Be Doing
Salesforce Administration
Manage the Salesforce platform, including processes and configuration changes impacting sales and revenue
Manage standard and custom objects, fields, page layouts, data fields, and workflow rules
Lead user management activities, including the creation of user profiles, roles, and security validation
Collaborate with stakeholders and team members to evaluate and identify issues, propose and implement solutions within Salesforce
Manage the process flow and integration with the billing and payment systems
Manage product catalog updates for subscription bundles and coupons
Develop and maintain user training documentation and videos, and provide support and expertise for user questions on reporting, internal process flows, and the sales pipeline process (lead-closing-receivables)
Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices, lead change management of new releases and staying abreast of new SaaS updates impacting revenue tech stack
Automations and Integrations
Manage Salesforce automations including process builders and flows, updating and troubleshooting errors
Utilize Zapier to connect Salesforce to external applications
Manage integrations within Salesforce (HelloSign, ChurnZero, Salesloft, Chargebee, Hubspot, etc.)
Data Management
Supports the maintenance and improvement of data accuracy and integrity within the Salesforce platform
Supports the data stewardship of Salesforce including uploading and creating records, implementing and managing data hygiene processes, resolving data integrity and synching issues
Documentation of Salesforce customizations and data model
Implement best practices for data management in support of the long-term, scalable data strategy
Business/Systems Development
Work in collaboration with DevOps team to implement systems that impact Salesforce and the revenue tech stack
Managing sandbox environment, co-ordinating and testing new releases
Gather and co-ordinate business and functional CRM requirements from internal stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Customer Success, etc.)
Conduct assessments of new industry technologies and provide recommendations to enhance the revenue tech stack and processes
Play a key role in driving tech solutions that support revenue growth and improve processes
What You Bring
3-5 years of experience in Salesforce administration and management, with a strong background in data management and process improvement
Minimum 2 years of proven Salesforce administration in a SaaS environment
Experience with automation tools such as process builders and flows, as well as integrations within Salesforce and with external applications (Zapier, HelloSign, ChurnZero, Salesloft, Hubspot)
Experience working with subscription billing and payment software systems (Chargebee, Stripe, BlueSnap, GoCardless)
Possesses exceptional problem-solving skills and a strong drive to identify and resolve issues
Demonstrates a natural curiosity and eagerness to expand their skillset into areas such as data analysis, systems/project management, or advanced Salesforce administration
Education: bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, or a related field is desirable, although equivalent work experience may be considered
Certifications: Salesforce Administrator or Advanced Administrator certification is highly desirable
