About Megaport

We’re not your typical tech company – and we don’t want to be. Megaport is the global leader in Network as a Service (NaaS), and has transformed the way businesses connect to the cloud, data centers, and each other. We’re publicly listed on the Australian Stock Exchange and partnered with the biggest names in tech like Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, IBM, and more. Headquartered in Brisbane with a crew of over 350 people spread across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Americas, our employees enjoy an environment that is collaborative, supportive, and (actually) fun.

Our Team Culture

We’re a team of problem solvers, pixel pushers, code slingers, and cloud fanatics. Culture is more than a poster on the wall here – collaboration beats hierarchy, curiosity fuels our growth, and everyone’s voice matters. We take our work seriously, but not ourselves. We work across time zones to execute on our global vision, trust each other to get things done, and never compromise our values for commercial gain. Most importantly, we place our customers at the center of everything we do.

The Role

Megaport is in an exciting phase of rapid growth, and we’re looking for a Sales Operations Manager to join our growing team and support the performance and scalability of our sales organization across North America. This role is critical to driving sales excellence by ensuring data integrity, streamlining processes, managing commission programs, and providing hands-on support to sales leadership and reps. You’ll act as a key partner to cross-functional teams—optimizing tools like Salesforce, improving sales workflows, and enabling smarter decision-making through accurate reporting and insights. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment and is passionate about building strong operational foundations that empower teams to exceed their goals

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Serve as the primary Sales Operations representative for the Americas region, providing oversight and support to drive sales excellence.

  • Manage commission attainment tracking and payment validation across the sales organization.

  • Oversee Salesforce CRM program management, ensuring effective system usage and optimization.

  • Provide operational support and contract management for partner programs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate data and maintain accuracy across multiple systems.

  • Lead onboarding for new sales team members, including system setup, training, and ongoing support.

  • Identify, implement, and optimize sales and customer-related processes in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Ensure data quality and consistency in sales systems while conducting analyses to support strategic decision making.

  • Act as a super-user and/or admin for the sales technology stack, leading and participating in various project-based initiatives.

  • Support campaign execution and performance tracking.

  • Partner with regional sales leaders to develop and implement effective sales strategies, including forecasting, territory management, and goal setting.

  • Provide sales teams with the training, tools, and resources needed to enhance commercial effectiveness.

What We Are Looking For

  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations that drive business results.

  • Deep understanding of sales processes and methodologies, including lead generation, pipeline management, and closing strategies for both new and existing customers.

  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams and communicate clearly with sales representatives and key stakeholders.

  • Skilled at identifying, documenting, and resolving issues related to sales processes, data inconsistencies, and implementation challenges.

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.

  • Confident in creating and delivering engaging presentations to virtual and in-person audiences.

  • Experience partnering with senior sales leadership to define key performance metrics and implement effective performance management programs.

  • Ability to align reporting across internal and external databases, incentive structures, and product profitability metrics with overall business priorities.

  • In-depth knowledge of sales systems and processes, with a proactive approach to identifying and executing ongoing process improvements that support strategic goals.

  • Strong information management and reporting skills, including maintaining accurate master data for U.S. sales teams and administering performance tracking via dashboards (e.g., Salesforce).

  • Capable of monitoring site ROI, identifying underperforming locations, and driving targeted activities to improve outcomes.

What We Offer

  • Flexible working environments

  • Birthday Leave

  • Generous study and training allowance + 5 days paid study leave

  • Creative, fun, and contemporary workspaces

  • Motivated team of industry experts and new talent

  • Celebrated success with ‘Legend’ and ‘Kudos’ Awards

  • Health and wellness program
