We’re looking for an exceptional communicator, with strong organizational and analytical skills to manage the development, design, communication and implementation of our various go-to-market incentive plans from end to end. The Sales Incentive Manager will collaborate internally with our sales leaders, along with finance and legal to ensure that incentive plans and quotas align to overall company objectives and are distributed org-wide in a timely manner. This role has a direct impact on driving revenue growth and the success of the overall go-to-market team.
What we're looking for:
2+ years in roles directly in designing or managing sales incentive programs
5+ years of experience in sales operations/revenue operations or experience in managing commissions and payouts process
Expert level with Excel and data analysis. Able to manage large volumes of data
Excellent communication and storytelling skills. Ability to articulate impact of different proposals and decisions to different stakeholders including executive leadership
Experience working cross functionally with different departments within an organization
Experience working with Salesforce
Experience working in Sass company and general understanding of Sass metrics is an asset
Strong attention to detail
What you can expect:
Ownership of the sales incentive planning process from end to end, including strategy, design, development, communication, implementation and distribution
Project Manage and facilitate discussions across Sales, Finance, Legal and RevOps to gather inputs and requirements. Ensure all stakeholders are up to speed on changes and are held accountable for deliverables so that compensations plans are completed and delivered on-time
Ensure incentives align with overall company objectives, quotas align with targets and payouts are within budget constraints
Maintain an in-depth understanding of all sales incentive plans across the go-to-market organization and be able to effectively communicate rationale, strategy, and calculations
Understand current measurements of success and reporting capabilities. Able to leverage that knowledge, model different scenarios that articulate impact of decisions and advise leadership methods of measuring performance
Support the design of plans to drive/incentivize the correct behavior
Ensure reporting capabilities are in place to facilitate tracking and execution of plans
Collaborate closely with FP&A who calculates monthly, quarterly and annual payouts. Assist in planning and forecasting commissions and bonuses
Maintain up to date rules of engagement, quota attainment tracking and documentation of roles/responsibilities of various sales roles
Understand industry best practices and implications of the evolving macro-economic environments and current company priorities on sales incentive plan design
