Sales Director, Microsoft, EMEA - Digital CX

The Role

The Sales Director is responsible for generating business revenue through the acquisition of new clients and expanding the business within existing clients. Collaborates with the Business Development Associates to identify strategic targets and generate qualified opportunities. The SD builds and manages corporate partner relationships with Microsoft for the development of new revenue opportunities, creation of value added opportunities and mutually beneficial partnerships. Meets or exceeds established goals.

Key Accountabilities

·         Develops strong relationships with Microsoft Sales representatives and sales leadership to create joint target account strategies and corresponding marketing activities, which result in new business opportunities.

·         Utilise prospecting skills to identify clients and generate new revenue. This includes networking with known partners and contacts, conducting industry research, mining social media and applying technology and solution-oriented product knowledge to identify strategic sales opportunities and generate new business. Collaborates with colleagues in marketing, business development and leadership to qualify leads and plan contact strategies.

·         Uses client, prospect and partner feedback to implement a strategy to expand product opportunities within current account base. Maximizes the total value of solutions sold through deeper penetration of existing accounts, actively using all appropriate resources to win additional business.

·         Conducts opportunity assessments of client base to proactively understand client needs and develop in-depth account plans.

·         Presents proposals to corporate decision makers for renewal and new business. Works collaboratively with pre-sales, consultants and others to build interactive components and presentations which outline features, benefits and unique selling points to the prospect to include SOW and RFPs which fall within established margin requirements.

·         Works closely with Project Management and Practice Teams to ensure successful post sales implementation and contractual fulfillment.

·         Produce opportunity assessments of customer base that proactively act to understand the client needs as well as more in-depth account plans, where applicable

·         Collaborates with Client Account Managers to ensure a high degree of client satisfaction with products and services.

·         Personal:  Strong interpersonal skills, high energy and enthusiasm, integrity and honesty, flexible, results oriented, resourceful, problem solving ability, deal effectively with difficult situations, ability to prioritize.

·         Leadership:  Ability to gain credibility, motivate and provide leadership; work with a diverse customer base; maintain a positive attitude.

·         Operations:  Ability to manage multiple projects, and products.  Perform task at hand in a customer friendly manner while utilizing time and resources efficiently and effectively.

·         Technical:  Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts; proficient with Office products.

·         Supervisory Responsibilities. Deal and bid leadership responsibilities, but no formal supervisory responsibility.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

·         Ability to assess customer challenges and pain points to determine the appropriate TTEC Digital Microsoft solution.

·         Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of an organization, including executive and c-levels.

·         Ability to build relationships across the organization by collaborating with other sales and support roles to meet client needs.

·         Self-directed and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple engagements at one time with a high degree of attention to detail.

·         Strong account planning and management skills, including the ability to conduct and utilize research and business knowledge to conduct prospect and customer profiles to generate new business revenue.

·         Demonstrated relationship building and interpersonal skills to include ability to quickly establish credibility and trust.

·         Ability to generate interest, enthusiasm and benefits in TTEC Digital offerings.

·         Ability to develop consultative relationships with customers and partners to understand needs and identify opportunities.

·         Demonstrated negotiation skills with ability to overcome objections.

·         Demonstrated drive to deliver high levels of customer experience and satisfaction.

·         Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize workload to achieve results – self-starter style.

·         Possess a passion for sales with a healthy sense of competition.

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve desired outcome.

·         Proficient in the use of MS Office products, specifically Outlook and Dynamics CRM.

Education and Experience 

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or a related field preferred.

·         Certification in relevant Microsoft discipline(s) or the knowledge to become certified.

·         Experience of interacting and working with Microsoft directly to support client conversations.

·         Minimum of 5 years’ experience working with relevant Microsoft technologies in a sales environment.

·         At least 3 years of experience leading bid and deal teams.

·         At least 3 years of experience working with Microsoft with extensive contacts across multiple commercial teams.
