We are building a best-in-class sales organization of motivated and successful go-getters. The opportunity is big, our competition is fierce, and we have miles to go before we rest. If you thrive in a startup environment – bring your positive attitude, creative problem-solving skills, outstanding communication, and competitive drive to our team.

What makes Sales at Eventbrite so exciting? You are connecting with a wide range of event organizers every day – from food festivals, comedy clubs, nonprofits, conferences, and everything in between. Our horizontal platform means that every conversation with a potential client is unique. There is no one-size-fits-all script, and our sellers use their strong relationship building and consultative selling skills to help event organizers solve problems and achieve event goals. We invest in developing our team’s knowledge to enable their growth within Eventbrite.

THE ROLE

As an Eventbrite SDR, you are the first touch point for our prospective sales clients in North America. You’ll play a critical role in generating demand and excitement for Eventbrite, working closely with Account Executives and Demand Gen Marketing teams to create a growing pipeline of qualified opportunities for Eventbrite Sales.

As an SDR at Eventbrite, you will use effective strategies and proven processes to understand prospect’s diverse event needs and goals. You will identify potential sales qualified opportunities through inbound and outbound techniques, uncovering key information about their current challenges and future objectives, and effectively communicating how Eventbrite and our partnerships team can set them up for success.

YOU WILL

  • Maintain professionalism and respect in all interactions while representing Eventbrite

  • Exceed monthly and quarterly goals by consistently surpassing activity metrics and converting qualified leads into new opportunities for AE pipelines

  • Act quickly on inbound sales inquiries and other warm leads from marketing, using buyer-centric outreach messaging through outbound phone calls and emails

  • Contribute to an effective feedback loop by working with Sales and Marketing teams to refine strategies/processes and drive stronger outcomes

  • Build and maintain a robust and accurate lead pipeline, completing all follow-up tasks on time and scheduling future touch points if not yet qualified

  • Deeply understand the needs and challenges of our potential clients, tailoring Eventbrite’s solutions and next steps appropriately

  • Follow a clearly defined qualification process to align opportunities with required criteria and expectations

  • Immerse yourself in the event and ticketing industry, utilizing insights to enhance outreach strategies and expand your lead pipeline

  • Actively seek and quickly implement feedback for continuous self-improvement and professional growth

  • Engage in professional development opportunities such as 1x1 coaching, enablement sessions, and self-review practices

  • Maintain balance between being a collaborative and supportive team player and a driven and competitive individual contributor

  • Be a fully present and active contributor to maintain our motivated and engaged remote sales team culture

THE SKILL SET

  • 1+ year of experience in sales, with a record of consistent quota over-achievement

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to execute a high volume of outbound activities each day (cold calls, emails, etc.)

  • Fearless ability to engage with prospective clients

  • Consultative sales approach - maintaining strong call control and effective objection handling, while following qualification process to determine key criteria

  • Genuine curiosity and a knack for asking impactful questions to uncover pain points/goals

  • Extremely organized, with excellent time management and prioritization skills

  • Positive attitude/mindset, and genuine enthusiasm to take on new challenges and/or help improve internal processes

  • Eager and ready to learn and adopt winning techniques to advance in your career

  • Passionate about live experiences and contributing to a high performing team

  • Strong understanding of how to qualify a prospect’s interest and identify target clients
