Mercury* is building a complete financial stack for ambitious businesses. Since we launched in 2019, our customer base has grown to over 200,000 startups and small businesses from all around the world. To help Mercury activate new customer segments, grow our customer base and increase revenue, we are expanding our Revenue Strategy & Operations team, which leads business-critical, cross-functional efforts to efficiently scale our go-to-market organization.

The Revenue Strategy & Operations team is responsible for platforms & infrastructure, dashboards & insights, enablement and project management to support the broader go-to-market organization. As a RSO team member, you are a force multiplier, leading cross-functional initiatives that uplevel the capabilities, processes and results within the go-to-market organization .

*Mercury is a financial technology company, not a bank. Banking services provided by Choice Financial Group, Column N.A., and Evolve Bank & Trust, Members FDIC.

As part of the journey, we would expect you to:

  • Work cross-functionally with go-to-market teams including Sales, Relationship Management, Partnerships and Marketing to identify and solve sticky challenges

  • Own high-impact initiatives for months, quarters or possibly years, defining problem statements, developing and driving alignment around solutions, overseeing implementation and measuring impact

  • Leverage data to identify the biggest opportunities and drive decision-making

  • Get creative, building solutions that leverage novel approaches and innovative technologies while balancing scalability with speed

  • Build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders and deliver impact through collaboration and consensus

There are lots of paths that could lead you to be successful in a role like this; we think the strongest candidates will have some of this experience:

  • Prior experience leading strategic projects or programs, such as in consulting, Business Operations, Sales or Revenue Operations, Program Manager, or other applicable roles

  • Demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and can approach new problems with curiosity and first-principles thinking

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, build consensus and influence across teams and senior-level stakeholders

  • Experience in decision-making through data, including a proficiency in leveraging reporting platforms (Looker, Salesforce, Tableau, gSheets, etc.) to manipulate data and extract insights

  • Demonstrated ability to bring structure and simplicity to a variety of complex and ambiguous business problems

  • Ability to work independently to identify issues and proactively propose, build and implement the solutions to address them from the ground up

  • Comfort working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of when to escalate urgent issues and to whom

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and time management and prioritization skills

The total rewards package at Mercury includes base salary, equity (stock options), and benefits.
