  • Leverage AI to automate responses and processes

  • Manage compensation exceptions and adjustments, working closely with various business operations teams to resolve discrepancies and implement solutions.

  • Own the intake, tracking, and resolution of rep onboarding, offboarding, and role change tickets across Sales and Customer Success.

  • Partner with Business Operations Analysts to resolve issues related to rep setup, territory changes, and quota attainment

  • Prepare quota objects and quota files, supporting the setup and distribution of sales targets.

  • Work with performance data within Salesforce, ensuring timely and accurate record-keeping.

What you’ll bring

As the Revenue Operations Specialist, you will be a vital member of our Revenue Operations team, with a primary focus on the operational backbone of our compensation programs. This role is heavily involved in managing incoming requests and ensuring smooth, accurate compensation processes through diligent ticket management. You'll play a crucial role in maintaining data integrity and supporting our global workforce's compensation needs. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Sales Operations, this is an excellent opportunity for someone detail-oriented, organized, and enthusiastic to gain hands-on experience and grow their career in compensation operations within a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment.

The minimum qualifications for this role include:

Preferred qualifications for this role include:

  • Experience managing workflows via ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Zendesk, Asana).

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.

  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools or prompts to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.

  • A process improvement mindset—proactively identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions.

  • Excellent organization and time management, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-first mindset.

How you’ll grow

Within 1 month, you’ll plant your roots, including:

Within 3 months, you’ll start hitting your stride by:

  • Independently handle a wider range of business operations and compensation inquiries through our ticketing system.

  • Assist with performance data uploads and supporting onboarding/offboarding tasks.

  • Build relationships with key internal stakeholders.

Within 6 months, you’ll be making a clear impact through:

  • Be a trusted resource for all business operations and compensation operational tasks.

  • Proactively identify areas for process improvement and take ownership of specific documentation projects.

  • Be proficient in uploading performance data, assisting with quota file preparation, and managing compensation aspects of onboarding/offboarding.

  • Have a strong grasp of our operational processes and be highly efficient in managing business operations and compensation tickets.

Within 12 months, you’ll make this role your own by:

  • Getting exposure to various compensation programs, and having the chance to take on increasing responsibility within the team, building a solid foundation for a career in compensation.

Of course what is outlined above is the ideal timeline, but things may shift based on business needs and other projects and tasks could be added at the discretion of your manager.

However, we are not set up in all states, so please look at the drop-down box in our application to see whether your state is listed. Few roles require an office setting. If your position requires a physical presence in a Sprout office, it will be evident in the job listing and your offer letter.

Individual base pay is based on various factors, including work location, relevant experience and skills, the responsibility of the role, and job duties/requirements. In the United States, we have two geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires are:

  • Zone 1 (New York, California, Washington): $46,464.00 (min), $58,100.00 (mid), $69,696.00 (max) USD annually

  • Zone 2 (All other US states): $42,200.00 (min), $52,800.00 (mid), $63,400.00 (max) USD annually

The listed ranges represent the full earning potential in this position. Starting salaries for well-qualified new hires are typically around the midpoint of the range. These ranges were determined by a market-based compensation approach; we used data from trusted third-party compensation sources to set equitable, consistent, and competitive ranges. We also evaluate compensation bi-annually, identify any changes in the market and make adjustments to our ranges and existing employee compensation as needed.

Base pay is only one element of an employee's total compensation at Sprout. Every Sprout team member has an opportunity to receive restricted stock units (RSUs) under Sprout’s equity plan. Employees (and their dependents) are covered by medical, dental, vision, basic life, accidental death, and dismemberment insurance, and Modern Health (a wellness benefit).  Employees are able to enroll in Sprout’s company’s 401k plan, in which Sprout will match 50% of your contributions up to 6% with a maximum contribution. Sprout offers “Flexible Paid Time Off” and ten paid holidays. We have outlined the various components to an employee’s full compensation package here to help you to understand our total rewards package.
