The Reseller Account Manager will be responsible for meeting quota expectations through their named accounts across the K-12 Education Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) product portfolio. Additionally, the Reseller Account Manager will partner with the reseller accounts on end-user campaigns, sales enablement, expansion opportunities and increased market penetration
* This position can be based anywhere in the contiguous United States and works from a remote home office*
Job Responsibilities:
* Achieve your individual revenue quota and collaborate with the Reseller Group to meet the team revenue quota
* Create and implement an account specific strategy plan that focuses on the resellers' sales enablement, portfolio expansion opportunities, lead generation campaigns, marketing support and collaborative in-market events
* Development and presentation of Business Cases for new initiatives or business recommendations. Requires outside-the-box thinking and thought leadership.
* Completion of full business reviews to include sales analytics, market trends and customer initiatives -- highlighting successes, gaps and forwarding-planning.
* Forecasting of assigned account revenue and pipeline management.
* Completion of the HMH sales training program to ensure adequate product knowledge
* Develop a consistent and effective communication path to disseminate partnership and product information
* Collaboratively work with our sales campaign team to develop campaigns to deploy via our strategic partners
* Manage travel and expenses as appropriate
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
* Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* 3 - 5+ years of sales, or partnership management experience.
* Proficient with MS Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint and intermediate to advanced level skills with Excel.
Preferred Experience, Abilities, Skills:
* Previous experience working with digital products a plus.
* Partnership management experience a plus.
* Previous experience with a Sales Management program such as Salesforce.com, or similar preferred.
* Must have the ability to track and manage expenses.
* Must be self-directed.
Travel: 10 - 20%, can be nationwide.
