We’re looking for a Renewals Manager at Webflow that will be responsible for managing the end-to-end renewal process for a portfolio of key accounts. You will work closely with Customer Success Managers (CSMs), Account Executives, and other cross-functional teams to ensure timely renewals, minimize churn, and identify opportunities for expansion. This role is ideal for a self-starter with a deep understanding of SaaS renewals, customer retention strategies, and the ability to build trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

About the role:

  • Location: Remote-first (United States).  The ideal candidate resides in the Central or Eastern Time Zone.

  • Full-time

  • Our cash compensation amount for this role ranges depending on the cost of labor of the geographic area. The ranges shared below may change if you are hired in another geographic location.

    • United States  (all figures cited below in USD and pertain to workers in the United States)

      • Zone A: $111,000 - $140,000

      • Zone B: $105,500 - $133,000

      • Zone C: $99,000 - $126,000

For sales roles, the ranges provided are the role’s On Target Earnings (“OTE”) ranges, meaning that the ranges include both the sales commissions target and annual base salary for the role. This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Webflow and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s market location, job related experience, knowledge, qualifications, and skills. Benefits/additional compensation for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; retirement plans; health benefits; and wellness stipends

  • Reporting to the Director, Customer Success

As a Renewals Manager, you’ll … 

  • Renewals Ownership:

    • Manage the renewal process for a portfolio of accounts, ensuring timely and successful contract renewals.

    • Maintain a high level of forecast accuracy and provide regular updates to leadership on renewal pipeline and risk areas.

  • Customer Relationship Management:

    • Collaborate with CSMs to understand customer health and identify risks or opportunities in advance of renewal dates.

    • Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, addressing their needs and ensuring alignment on contract terms

  • Negotiation and Contracts:

    • Lead renewal negotiations, including pricing adjustments, contract length discussions, and expansion opportunities.

    • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations to ensure compliance and efficient processing of contracts.

  • Risk Mitigation:

    • Proactively identify at-risk accounts and develop actionable plans to address churn risks.

    • Document and escalate key risks and learnings to leadership and other relevant teams.

  • Collaboration and Enablement:

    • Work closely with Account Executives to align on renewal and expansion strategies.

    • Provide insights and feedback to improve the overall renewal process and customer experience.

  • Metrics and Reporting:

    • Track and report key renewal metrics, including retention rates, renewal cycle times, and upsell/cross-sell rates.

    • Leverage data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.

About you:

You’ll thrive as a Renewals Manager if you have:

  • Experience: 2-4 years of experience in a SaaS Renewals Manager role or equivalent. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding renewal targets in a fast-paced environment.

  • Customer Focus: Strong understanding of customer success and retention strategies with the ability to build relationships and navigate complex customer dynamics.

  • Negotiation Skills: Demonstrated expertise in negotiation and contract management with a focus on win-win outcomes.

  • Analytical Mindset: Data-driven approach to identifying risks and opportunities, with proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and analytics platforms.

  • Collaboration: Experience working cross-functionally with Customer Success, Sales, Finance, and Legal teams.

  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to clearly articulate value propositions and renewal strategies.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, with a proactive approach to managing challenges.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.

  • Knowledge of subscription-based pricing models and metrics like NRR and GRR.
