Job Description
Reporting to the Head of Global Product Safety and Chemical Management, you will be a very important part of the Global Regulatory Affairs (GRA) Team, working with multiple team members and product lines. This role is service-oriented within a team with multiple physical locations across the globe. Agility and problem-solving skills, as well as interpersonal communication, are therefore key competencies. You will be working closely with members of the Global Regulatory Affairs Team ensuring that the daily operations of the team are working correctly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include both regulatory based and administrative tasks. There is also room for you to signal what you find interesting and shape the role based on your fields of interest!

Wilmington, DE (and flexibility to work from home).
The Key Tasks/responsibilities Of This Position Are
- Assist in the maintenance of subscriptions to online services and in-print services for the department.
- Complete required filing and archiving tasks in-situ and online related to toxicology studies, vendor safety data sheets, and other department documentation; coordinator for third party archiving facilities and associated invoices.
- Assist in the creation and payment of purchase order requisitions and invoices from third parties.
- Coordination of the Toxic Substance Control Act (TSCA's) 8e, Human Studies Committee, and Contract Laboratory.
- Evaluation and Assessment Team; tracking of animal testing studies.
- Collect hazard information to support Safety Data Sheets (SDS’s) for R&D substances.
- Support GRA through the running of basic computer models on ingredients to provide preliminary hazard data for evaluation by Toxicologists.
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will:
Preferably have an Associate Degree or BSc in Business Administration and/or a science field (e.g., chemistry). Additional experience in regulatory administration work in the food, pharma or chemical industry is desirable.
Key Skills And Competencies Required
- Written and spoken English fluently.
- Experienced user of the full Microsoft Office Suite and SAP.
- Good communication skills.
- The individual will be expected to be an independent self-starter while also being able to work well in a team both on site as well as via virtual meetings with colleagues in other locations.
- Strong computer skills.
- Good communicator who is ready to pick up the phone and call colleagues around the world when needed.
Key skills and competencies preferred/ it will be an advantage if you have:
- Two to four years+ experience in the administration of regulatory affairs in the chemical, pharma, food or related industries.
- Experience working in a global environment with many different stakeholders.
