Whether you binge-watch a series on Netflix, plan faraway vacations from your phone, or read international news online, you’ve likely used Apollo’s technology this week. Apollo supports some of the largest GraphQL APIs in the world. Companies like Netflix, Expedia, Peloton, DoorDash, and The New York Times are just a small sample of Apollo's customers. We’re not looking to rest on our laurels, though — we’re aiming to change how software is built.

We need a world-class Regional Director to scale the EMEA team and take advantage of our unique opportunity in a massive market. You will be responsible for identifying and recruiting top talent. You will work with the CRO on strategic initiatives, including territory creation and sales processes, to achieve our revenue goals. You will collaborate with technical and business development stakeholders to drive a successful sales program. You’re going to play an integral, and ever-expanding role as we continue to grow. If this sounds like something you are excited about we would love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

  • You’ll build a team of top sales talent and ensure that they achieve ramping and ramped AE productivity.

  • You will execute on a comprehensive enablement program to ensure AE productivity. This will be done in close conjunction with the CRO and Product Marketing.

  • Regional Directors at Apollo will leverage the knowledge gained in the field to provide a continual feedback loop for the product and marketing teams.

  • You will be responsible for accurately forecasting and reporting on sales performance. You will be responsible for providing specific information, including weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual pipeline, achievement and performance reports.

  • You will focus on streamlining sales processes and strategies, assigning quotas, balancing territories, and enhancing the visibility of pipeline management.

  • You will collaboratively work across the organization to continually: 1. Measure the existing sales process; 2. Identify inefficiencies; 3. Eliminate friction; 4. Measure the result; 5. Repeat.

About You

  • You’re growth-oriented and motivated to develop your career in sales leadership in software sales.

  • You’re intellectually curious, passionate about technology, and able to speak knowledgeably about technical products and industries.

  • You’re a trailblazer. If a process doesn’t exist, you’ll jump right in and help to create it. If you come across inefficiencies, you’re able to provide feedback and take action to optimize processes/results.

  • You’re a great communicator with excellent writing and analytics skills and a sense of empathy for both internal and external stakeholders you engage with.

  • You thrive in a startup environment, where you’re comfortable navigating competing priorities and managing ambiguity in a fast-paced setting.

  • You have experience with software sales or complex technical selling.

  • You have experience leading and hiring successful sales teams, making sure they are ramping to productivity appropriately and achieving sales goals.

  • You are passionate about pipeline generation and sales methodology - bonus points if you are familiar with MEDDPICC
