Recruitment Specialist
About Us:
We are a specialized recruitment firm focused on placing elite Quantitative Researchers, Portfolio Managers, Software Engineers, and Quantitative Developers into top-tier hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, and other buy-side quantitative shops. We partner directly with CEO's, CTO's Head of BD/ MD's, and hiring managers at industry-leading firms and work on highly technical, high-impact roles that drive competitive alpha.
Key Responsibilities:
Source and engage top-tier technical talent through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, referrals, and direct outreach
Craft and execute advanced Boolean searches to target highly specialized candidates based on client job descriptions
Screen and qualify candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter searches
Partner closely with recruiters and account managers to understand client needs and role requirements
Manage a high-volume pipeline and maintain accurate data in our CRM or ATS
Stay informed on market trends and talent movements in the quantitative finance and trading tech space
Qualifications:
36 years of experience in technical sourcing or recruiting, ideally within finance or tech (more than 6 is ok but not more than 10)
Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter and Boolean search techniques
Have used ATS like Salesforce, Cats, or bullhorn
Strong understanding of software engineering principles, tech stacks (C++, Python, distributed systems), and/or quant developer skillsets (low latency, HFT, etc.)
Knowledge of the quantitative finance industry or a strong desire to learn it quickly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; persuasive and engaging outreach style
Highly organized, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
Ability to work EST Hours: 1 - 9 PM, Wednesday - Thursday; 9 AM - 5 PM Friday - Sunday; Monday - Tuesday off
Bonus Points For:
Previous experience sourcing for hedge funds, trading firms, or top-tier tech companies
Familiarity with quantitative roles (e.g., systematic trading, market-making, signal research)
Ability to read and interpret job descriptions for technical and quant roles
