ClinChoice is searching for a Raw Material Compliance Review Associate Consultant with REMOTE option in CANADA for 12 months CONTRACT, to join one of our major consumer products clients.

We are looking for a detail-oriented and scientifically driven Raw Material Compliance Review Associate to join our Regulatory team and help ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of our product ingredients.
Position Summary:
The Raw Material Compliance Review Associate will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and maintaining compliance documentation for raw materials used in our cosmetic formulations. This role is critical in supporting product development, regulatory submissions, and quality assurance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: • Review and assess raw material documentation (e.g., SDS, TDS, specification sheets, allergen statements, regulatory declarations). • Ensure compliance with global cosmetic regulations (e.g., FDA, EU, Health Canada, ASEAN, etc.). • Evaluate raw materials for restricted substances, labeling requirements, and safety concerns. • Maintain and update raw material databases and internal records. • Collaborate with R&D, Regulatory, Quality, and Purchasing teams to resolve ingredient or documentation discrepancies. • Assist in compiling regulatory dossiers for product registration and claims substantiation. • Monitor updates to raw material regulatory guidelines and ensure internal alignment.
Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a closely related scientific field (required). • Minimum of 1 year of experience in regulatory affairs, quality, or raw material review—preferably in the cosmetics, personal care, or related industry. • Familiarity with global cosmetic regulations and ingredient restrictions. • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and written communication. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with regulatory databases is a plus. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
