QA Manager

As our QA Manager, you will lead the Quality Assurance function, ensuring our web and mobile applications meet the highest standards of performance, usability, and reliability. You’ll partner closely with engineering, product, and design to build and scale testing strategies that support our rapid growth and evolving customer needs.
What You’ll Do
Team Leadership & Strategy
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of QA engineers focused on delivering high-quality web and mobile software products.
Define and evolve the QA strategy, aligning with the broader engineering and product roadmap.
Establish quality metrics and KPIs to monitor software quality across all releases.
Test Strategy & Execution
Oversee the development and execution of comprehensive test plans, cases, and automation strategies.
Implement and manage a scalable testing framework across manual and automated workflows.
Guide the team in performing functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
Collaboration & Communication
Partner with engineering, product, and design to embed QA early in the development lifecycle.
Facilitate cross-functional coordination to ensure alignment on quality goals and release readiness.
Clearly communicate test progress, risks, and quality metrics to stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging tools in QA, automation, and DevOps practices.
Advocate for quality at every stage of the software development lifecycle.
Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and cloud-based environments.
It’s a Perfect Match If You Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Deep understanding of QA methodologies, test automation, and cross-platform testing.
Hands-on experience with tools like Selenium, Appium, TestRail, JIRA, Postman, and CI/CD platforms.
Strong scripting skills in JavaScript, Python, or a similar language.
A track record of building high-functioning QA teams and scalable test processes.
Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
Bonus: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum environments, and experience in a high-growth startup setting.
The pay range for this role is $133,000 - 159,000. We offer a competitive salary package and may include variable compensation. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the candidate's location, skills, qualifications, and experience.
