Position Summary:
The Proposal Writer is responsible for guiding business development opportunities through their entire life cycle by developing content in support of new business proposals and presentations.
Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:
- Develop content for new business opportunities in the form of written proposals and PowerPoint presentations
- Curate comprehensive information about Precision’s business lines and structure in order to effectively communicate our capabilities to potential clients
- Research market trends and gather insights that are applicable to each new business opportunity
- Review product profiles (in partnership with strategic services/leadership) for information critical to each opportunity
- Assist with the development of strategic frameworks and aligning tactical recommendations
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 5-7 years in proposal or grant writing
Preferred:
Other Required:
- Major in life sciences, business administration or English
- Experience working in a consulting-client environment
- Pharmaceutical consulting experience, with a focus on HEOR and/or market access, either in a business development or client-facing role
- Business-to-business writing skills
- General business knowledge
Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Word
Competencies:
- Communicates clearly and effectively in writing as well as verbal exchanges
- Astute observer able to understand and communicate business process and offerings
- Flexible in approach, able to adapt quickly to meet the needs of the business
- Able to evaluate and synthesize information, data, and research finding and to apply the results to new business opportunity assessments
- Team player who effectively partners with colleagues
- Takes ownership of work assignments and accountability for outcomes
