The Difference You Will Make:
The Airbnb Community team is looking for a Programs and Business Operations Lead to support the team’s strategic and operational objectives. In this role you will work closely with both the Community team and cross-functional partners and play a key role in driving analytics and insights work as well as managing strategic programs. The successful candidate will report to the Senior Programs and Business Operations Lead for Community.
A Typical Day:
Operational Excellence: Leverage your analytical skills to translate data-driven insights into actionable operational plans and frameworks that enhance the performance of our community initiatives, and build efficiency into our systems.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships within Community Leadership, Finance, Advanced Analytics, Data Science, Research, and other teams to develop and present analysis, insights, and actionable plans to the Community leadership team to drive key business decisions.
Strategic program management: Own the conception, execution, and measurement of cross-functional initiatives end-to-end by defining a problem statement, articulating the ideal solution, identifying key dependencies and blockers, and then working with cross-functional stakeholders.
Your Expertise:
Qualified candidates will ideally have a minimum of 10+ years of work experience, preferably with combined exposure to data-modeling, analytics, and project management in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment.
A world class written and verbal communicator with the ability to present at all levels of an organization in a succinct, clear and eloquent manner.
A proven track record of being able to influence and rally diverse cross-functional stakeholders against a common mission or goal using both qualitative and quantitative insights.
Ability to not only dive into details to drive execution but also zoom out to contextualize specific recommendations/initiatives within the broader company strategy.
Ability to multi-task by prioritizing work and coordinating required support across various functions to achieve project goals and objectives.
Impeccable organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to document processes & decisions made.
Experience implementing and scaling initiatives across globally dispersed teams

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager.
