About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate team member to join our Customer Experience team as a Professional Services Consultant specializing in Accounting and Reporting. Our Professional Services team delivers implementation, training, and consulting to ensure customers maximize the benefits of CaptivateIQ.

Do you have sales compensation and accounting experience but crave a new challenge? Do you love building financial models? Our customers begin by modeling their commission plans on our platform and later use it for aggregation and reporting. If you have a knack for financial modeling, sales commissions accounting, and customer collaboration, we’d love to have you on our team!

Responsibilities

  • Partner with customers and internal teams to deliver best-in-class professional services.

  • Lead and manage end-to-end implementations and other key projects.

  • Become an expert in CaptivateIQ and guide customers on best practices.

  • Leverage your accounting expertise to develop and maintain compliance-aligned best practices for using CaptivateIQ.

  • Analyze customer requirements and design efficient, scalable system configurations.

  • Configure, test, and validate implementations to meet customer needs.

  • Provide consultative guidance to customers, helping them optimize and scale their use of CaptivateIQ.

  • Deliver post-implementation support by resolving accounting- and model-related inquiries submitted via support tickets.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales compensation, accounting, or finance.

  • Understanding of sales compensation accounting and commission structures.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain complex financial models (Excel, Google Sheets, or similar).

  • Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a strong problem-solving mindset.

  • Customer-focused, proactive, and able to communicate complex ideas clearly.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Bonus Points

  • CPA license or equivalent accounting certification.

  • Knowledge of ASC 340, ASC 606, or IFRS 15 related to commission capitalization and amortization.

  • Experience with CaptivateIQ or similar sales compensation software (SAP Callidus Cloud, Xactly Incent, Varicent).

  • Hands-on experience in implementing software, especially sales compensation software.

  • Proficiency in databases, data visualization, or modeling tools.

  • Background in financial operations, FP&A, accounting, system implementation, sales engineering, or technology consulting.

The OTE range represents the minimum and maximum of the OTE range for this position in CAD.
