The Role We are looking for an ambitious, analytical, and collaborative product marketer to define, execute and evolve a product marketing practice at Plate IQ. Owning all product marketing initiatives for a particular module in our solution suite, you will drive positioning and messaging, manage launches, create collateral, enable sales and weigh in on the right combination of features and pricing to maximize customer value and satisfaction. You will create and execute campaigns that drive product expansion and present new opportunities for efficiencies for our customers. Working collaboratively with our Product, Marketing, Engineering, Partnerships and Customer Success teams, you will also be making decisions that inform our product roadmap, and influence future product strategy. Key Responsibilities

  • Own and evolve our understanding of the customer journey from initial contact through sales, implementation, and renewal

  • Own and evolve value proposition and buyer persona development

  • Increase customer product engagement and decrease time to value

  • Establish appropriate customer communication channels at all stages of the customer journey

  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns to drive expansion

  • Drive GTM activities for expanding usage and adoption of Plate IQ’s emerging products across our existing customer base

  • Create and execute go-to-market strategies including content creation, sales support, enablement, and product launches to drive expansion

  • Support product management's understanding of customer satisfaction, competitive products, competitive pricing/packaging, and opportunities for improvement

  • Own the company's understanding of product/market fit, win rates, churn reasons, and competitive landscape by segment and persona

  • Assume leadership of product launch communications

  • Create cross-functional launch plans for supporting all major product releases

  • Equip customer-facing teams with consistent messaging and supporting collateral

  • Establish ongoing accurate measurement of churn to and from competitors, and present full historical analysis

  • Partner with account executives and customer success managers in closing, retaining, and upselling customers, by creating top of funnel through mid-funnel materials, coaching reps, and joining customer calls where it makes sense

  • Lead vertically focused sales & marketing efforts in new markets

  • Become an internal expert across the hospitality, finance, accounting, AP automation, expense/spend management or payments industries

Ingredients

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B Startup experience with demonstrated success in launching products

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience that can span marketing, product marketing, and product management

  • At least 4-5 years of product marketing or go-to-market; experience

  • Experience working on product marketing throughout a product’s lifecycle

  • Proven experience developing and executing new product GTM, positioning, value prop, and pricing work (value props, positioning, messaging)

  • Process driven, with strong project management and multi-tasking skills and the ability to prioritize among many competing requests and initiatives

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and articulate ideas clearly and succinctly

  • Willingness to embrace change and adapt strategies on the fly

  • Experience in SaaS, finance, accounting, AP automation, expense/spend management or payments industry a plus
