Empower developers. Build reliable systems. Drive platform excellence. At Pax8, we’re looking for a Product Manager – DevOps to lead the charge in transforming how our internal developer teams build, deploy, and scale infrastructure. This is not your typical product role—it’s about owning the roadmap for internal tooling, decomposing epics into actionable stories, and driving outcomes that improve developer experience and operational efficiency.

You’ll work closely with engineering, architecture, and delivery teams to ensure our DevOps capabilities are scalable, secure, and aligned with business needs. If you’re technically sharp, thrive in infrastructure environments, and know how to communicate urgency and clarity across teams, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and drive the vision, strategy, and roadmap for DevOps, focusing on internal tools and infrastructure.

  • Treat internal tooling as a product—cultivating roadmaps, metrics, and outcomes that matter.

  • Collaborate with engineering leadership to decompose epics into stories and manage a dynamic backlog.

  • Facilitate agile ceremonies and ensure smooth execution across DevOps squads.

  • Guide trade-off decisions and track progress using KPIs and OKRs.

  • Stay ahead of trends in platform engineering and DevOps, with an AI-first mindset.

  • Communicate clearly and consistently with engineering teams, balancing technical depth with strategic clarity.

What You Bring

  • 3+ years of product management experience in platform engineering, infrastructure, or developer tooling.

  • 2+ years of developer experience.

  • Exposure to AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, Terraform, GitHub Actions, Helm, Argo CD.

  • Strong understanding of developer pain points across the SDLC.

  • Experience managing backlogs, writing/refining stories, and working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Ability to collaborate across diverse teams and communicate technical concepts effectively.

  • Comfort with ambiguity and a bias for action.

  • Data-driven mindset with a focus on ROI and business value.

  • Familiarity with AI tools for product management and platform engineering.

Required Education & Certifications:

  • B.A./B.S. in related field or equivalent work experience

Compensation:

  • Qualified candidates can expect a compensation range of $130,000 to $140,000 or more depending on experience.

Expected Closing Date: 9/15/2025
