Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager within Health Registries and Real-World Evidence to lead the development and enhancement of our healthcare registry platforms. You will play a key role in shaping digital products that support data collection, analysis, and reporting across the healthcare sector, helping to improve patient outcomes and support evidence-based clinical decision-making.

You will be responsible for managing a set of software products from ideation through to delivery. You will be extremely customer focused. If you have experience in managing software and technology products, particularly in a healthcare setting, then this role is for you.

What you will do - why you will love this role:

  • Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for healthcare registry platforms, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and NHS / health sector priorities.

  • Collaborate closely with clinicians, hospital administrators and managers, researchers, data scientists, and policy stakeholders to understand user needs and regulatory requirements.

  • Lead agile product development cycles: define and prioritise product backlogs, write user stories, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality features.

  • Oversee integration with healthcare systems (EHRs), ensuring interoperability and compliance with data standards (e.g., SNOMED CT, HL7 FHIR).

  • Drive continuous improvement based on user feedback and analytics.

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data governance and privacy standards.

  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure intuitive and accessible user experiences for both clinicians and data entry personnel.

  • Collaborate with commercial and strategy teams to support funding proposals, stakeholder engagement, and long-term sustainability of registry programmes.

  • Research the competitive landscape across healthcare to develop propositions unique and competitive to the marketplace

  • Strive to continually improve customer experience

  • Assist with bid responses and other procurement activities

  • Run user groups, liaise with relevant agencies, professional bodies and policy units

  • Create detailed functionality documentation to support product training, sales collateral and marketing campaigns

  • Excellent research skills.  Research competitors, markets, customers, requirements and use it to inform the very best product strategies that lead to market leadership and commercial growth. 

  • Leadership skills - product managers need to positively influence the whole lifecycle.

  • Communication skills.  

 

Qualifications

Essential:

  • Proven experience as a Product Manager in a software or digital health environment.

  • Strong understanding of the UK healthcare system, clinical workflows, and/or public health data registries.

  • Familiarity with healthcare data standards and regulatory frameworks.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and clinical audiences.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.

  • Demonstrable research skills – experience with the research of competitors, markets, customers, requirements and use it to inform the very best product strategies that lead to market leadership and commercial growth. 

  • Advanced MS Office skills.

Desirable

  • An enthusiasm for the use of technology in improving healthcare.

  • Technical background or experience working with APIs, data integrations, or analytics platforms.

  • Knowledge of NHS data architecture at either local or national level

  • Background in life sciences, public health, or clinical research.

  • Experience of working with healthcare professionals.

  • Experience of working in the area of healthcare registries or real-world data.

  • Experience of working in a regulated environment.

  • Experience of working with Software as a Medical Device (SaMD).

Personal Skills:

  • Self-reliant requiring minimal direction but with strong team player capabilities

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills

  • Ability to deliver in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities

  • Strong interpersonal/team skills

  • Highly self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritisation skills, with a proven ability to work to deadlines

  • Ability and desire to deliver an excellent level of customer service

  • Effective relationship builder, developing strong working relationships with customers, relevant agencies and individuals within the business

  • Undaunted when encountering problems or challenges and keen to determine a solution

  • Organised
